Jovany Marquez forget that, what about episode 9? No one can imagine Star Wars without Carrie Fisher, because no one can imagine Star Wars without Princess Leia, and Carrie Fisher will forever be the one and only Leia, from Princess to General and beyond. RIP.

Your God Wilfred I'd say Episode VIII will be harder to watch, there's going to be something about the first time you see her and the last time you see her that will likely feels slightly uncomfortable, and the inevitable "For Carrie and Kenny." during the credits will be a punch in the guts

Good for HBO for getting this out there early. These were two beautiful women. Their loss is tragic, but I'm glad these moments were captured, and I hope they help ease some of the pain by celebrating their lives.

Carrie was not old by any means. She died at a quite early age. It's not an age to die. Her mother on the other hand was indeed old, but could have lived a lot more years if it hadn't been for Carrie's passing.

Carrie had an amazing sense of humor for someone who suffered with mental illnes her whole life. Such beautiful women. I wish they were still alive. May they rest in peace.

I've heard the electro shock treatments are very hard on a person over time. Carrie was still battling mania and this was her last resort. It wasn't her wild ways of 30 some years ago. It was her trying to cope with her mental illness. I cannot imagine the desperation she must have felt at times.

It’s already been six years. I remember getting out of a theater for a play that me and my mom had just watched (I think it was guthrie theater in St. Paul). And then reading that Carrie fisher had been hospitalized, i prayed that what I feared most would happen didn’t happen and that after a year losing such talented celebrities, at the very least she would be alive. But nope. RIP Carrie and Debbie, in a actually just world you two would be alive and well.
