For anyone scratching their head trying to get out a fallen bulb, just lightly slap the black trim a few times until the bulb pops out 👍🏼 worked for me

Had mine installed yesterday on my C300. Guy followed your video but then had to dismantle the mirror. He said it was more difficult than the video. But love the upgrade!

I just did it to mine mb. Yes. Getting an access to the bulb is a nightmare. I ended up undoing two screws and taking the bottom cover of mirror apart. Much easier and safier way I think.

Two things I discovered after trying this on my W212: I wasn't able to just pop the cover off by separating the bottom lip and just lifting up. I had to also take off the mirror and release the clip holding the cover to the assembly. It's right behind the mirror motor at the top. The other thing that helped was adding a bit of grease to the outside of the rubber socket before trying to reinsert it into the housing made it A LOT easier. I ended up not needing to take off the cover and just removing the puddle light housing after popping off the mirror and motor. It was a tight fit but I got it out and back in with some finagling.

hi when removing the mirror, mine has blind spot assist and auto dimming, other than the heating and the auto dimming line is there one for the blind spot assist? I'm afraid of trying and ripping the wire

It is very hard to get to the puddle light itself once you take off the mirror cover. How did you make it easy for you?

For other owners, if your car is older, you will need to check if you need CANBUS LEDS which has a load resistor.

You make everything look so easy. With my luck, I'm gonna break something in that cover trying to pull it out, then break something on the bulb's wires trying to pull it out....and if that doesn't happen, I'm sure something will break while I put it back together 😅

Hello guys, So i did this today. I did replaced the bulb but ill tell you that it was very very difficult to remove the bulb, i did brake a plastic which was connection the down plastic of the mirror but i doesnt affect anything. In video seems the bulb to come out very easy but trust me it was very very hard to take it out. Be careful!!

Chris Lecona put wd40 on fingers and coat the black rubber piece. I had same trouble it took me an hour before I was like I’m ab to grease this thing and it literally popped in with no force

Let me ask, when you Upgraded your Puddle Lights to the Led Phillips LED's did your Dash throw out any Error Codes at you??? I love to see the upgrades but no body ever mentions if there is or not error Error codes on your display saying please check .... etc... Litghts???? Please let me know. I've been asking a few questions but haven't heard back from you yet, that kinda worries me, since I just put in a large order with DMP.

Umm…there’s no mention of errors because there wasn’t any. If there’s errors in any of my installs, I will clearly share that in the video or description box of the video. I don’t hide things from my viewers. For example in the c300 led parking light video. I didn’t get an error until days later. And I clearly put that info in the description box and as a pinned comment in the comment section to warn people.

@@TheFlexxGarage thanks for responding, so I ordered the newest turn signal dynamic sequential turn signals from DMP like a week ago, well well while I'm at it , I'd like love to go head and replace my puddle light lights with it. ?? I have some extra LED 168/194?? Bright LED white... let me know what u think. I own a 2014 c300 sport sedan.

@@TheFlexxGarage Sweet, I appreciate your response, Let me hit you with this, so my 2014 c300 w204, has the round style puddle lights and I plan On upgrading the Puddle Lights while I install the Dynamic Turn Signals I purchased off DMP!!! Well can you tell me when the puddle lights are supposed to turn on/off, is it only at night time or All the time regardless of light outside. this makes sorta a HUGE difference. I could be wrong but I thought I tried this afternoon and I didn't see them come on, but they DID come on in my garage, just wondering if you knew their On/Off status? Thanks Flexx!!

If you’re having trouble sticking the rubber piece back in just get some WD40 and spray on fingers and coat the rubber piece. It will stick in like nothing

you don't. They automatically come on when it detects it's dark out.

I don't get it. Why do most people prefer the blueish 6000k-6500k instead of the 4000k-5000k color? Also what i noticed the same people who install these blueish lights usually burn their retinas with iphone screens(i mean has their screen brightness set to max or close to the max value all the time).

Yes. That’s how Mercedes’ programmed them. There’s no point for them to light up during the day.

@@TheFlexxGarage ah, no wonder. i retrofitted them to my door module and enable it by coding. i kept testing it but theres no light cause i tested them during bright day light...

If you want to test, there’s a sensor on the center top of your windshield. Just put a piece of dark tape over it on the outside of the windshield covering the sensor. Will trick the car to think it’s dark out and the puddle lights will come on.

Hey flex you did it totally wrong actually what do you have to do is you have to remove the mirror I mean the glass by unlocking the clips five clips and then screw out the two screws and then move down the plastic thing and replace the bulb and check it that is much much easier I did it to my car with just within 5 minutes for each mirror so that much much easier as compared to what you have described in your video
