The Fahren Termitor 2023 version is the brightest "all-in-one" LED headlight upgrade I have tested so far. But is it as good as the previous version that I tested? You will be surprised… ★ Buy on Amazon: geni.us/termitor2023 ★ Fahren Store: geni.us/fahren ★ Fahren deals on eBay: geni.us/fahrenebay

I just bought these last week to upgrade from the last Termintor set I got in March for my 2004 Crown Vic Police Interceptor. These new ones flicker like crazy and ran super hot compared to the older version. Even my wife noticed the light wasn't as bright with the newer ones. I sent them back and put the older ones back in. They have been rock solid for seven months so far. No flickering at all. I thought that the newest version of them would be an upgrade, but they are not. The older model kicks it's ass in every way. Your review of both versions are spot on.

I am very encouraged that these manufactures are improving the All-in-One LED bulbs as it will make bulb replacing a lot easier for many headlight housings. The front dark spot is very large so hopefully they will find ways to thin out the coolant tubes or find other thinner material to improve this area. Thank you for this in-depth review, great job.👍

As someone who believed in LED technology years ago, I now have factory xenon headlights on one of my cars, I upgraded with LED set and I saw gains in 20 - 30%. Why dont we see factory xenon 25w and 35w vs LED possible upgrades for D1s = D3s in LED and D2s and D4s? Broken mounts headlight with refurbished projector can't be that expensive to test out and OEM balast sometimes can be pain in the ass for led to work with, flicker, not turn on ETC. That is something that you can test also... or not, your call :D

Best purchase previous model. I got it and i know its brighter since this 2023 model is an all in one. It cannot dissipate heat that good. They might be using the same chip but with a different driver (in wattage) hence the discrepancy in published and observed wattage. Can you do a teardown? Haha

I recently installed the Fahren Forscher 4 pack 9006 & 9005 bulbs. Great value, really good lighting. Installation was done on a 2008 Chrysler Sebring. After installation, lights randomly alternate from on to off and back on. The bulbs are advertised as 30 watt lights ea. I’ve researched that this is caused by CANBUS communications errors that can possibly fixed using a CANBUS decoder to increase current draw. My question (finally) is would using a higher wattage bulb be less likely to confuse CANBUS and reduce random outages. For example, the Fahren Termitor is in the 60 watt class, much closer in wattage to the stock halogen 9006/9005. Hope you see this, thanks for the thorough reviews. Very helpful. Hope I explained my thoughts clearly.

You’ll need the decoder. Chrysler uses the Body Control Module to operate the headlights. My friend has a 2016 Dodge Challenger and it did the same thing as your car. He has the Fahren Termitor bulbs. The decoder fixed the issue

I think buying something closer to the OEM wattage is better as I tried the cheapo Farhen LEDs(60w) in my car and the wattage was so low turning them on/off and flashing high beams made very little difference. After upgrading to the Farhen Termintor(120w) then the on/off and highbeams operation was back to how it was with OEM bulbs no additional canbus decoder. Also tho it definitely depends on the year of vehicle as the same bulbs throw error codes on my parents 2013 Ford Escape without an additional decoder

Every now and then a crappy AI-generated video pops up in my feed with robotic voices reading product descriptions from amazon using stock video footage claiming to show the "best" lights. Unfortunately, I can't suggest a recommendation for specific vehicles as I can't test them all, I am sorry to say. That's why I can offer a baseline reference. However, I do suggest that you review my headlight data spreadsheet here: carlightreviews.com/headlightspecs and use that data to guide your decision. Sorry I cannot be more specific to your needs!

Would you consider lessening the repetitive PR speak and maybe get to the point a little quicker? You tell us at least 4-5 times in each video that commenters requested each particular light, we get it. We know you have a 1 minute testing methods video. I smashed the like and subscribe button. You really don't need to dedicate 1/3 of the total length of your videos to this. Thank you for your service.

There are only 8,760 hours in a 365 day year. Even if one were to keep this bulb on 24/7 for the full length of the one year warranty, you barely surpass 1/4 of the 30,000 hour rating. Either they believe in the product enough to give it a four year warranty, or they don’t. Obviously they don’t believe in the product.

For that, I rely on my viewers, who actually on the lights to tell me how they do over time.

Hmmmm..NOT GOOD..NO ADJUSTMENT COLLAR
@CarLightReviews
@CarLightReviews 9 ай бұрын
Most vehicles typically don't require the adjustment collar. When installed, ensure that the LED emitters fire in the 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock directions in projectors or perpendicular to the ridges in the reflector bowl (which is also usually the same 9-3 orientation). The adjustment collar becomes necessary only when the mounting design prevents this or the reflector ridges are on an angle.
