Nasal cavity also softens the pressure over the larynx. That's why it helps to be less damaging.

This was great, it's always a pleasure to hear David sing. So from what I learned from him explaining about his Voice box being shaped like a Baritone in the back and a Tenor in the front, David could probably be classified as a Baritenor, having both characteristics of a Baritone Voice and a Tenor Voice, with it usually being the Voice of a Baritone throughout your Modal Voice, the Range of a Tenor and sometimes a Pinging or Ringing sound in your Voice as you ascend your Range. Don't get it wrong though, Tenors can still have a Darker Lower register and still be a Tenor, with the same being said about Baritones being able to sing easily in Higher registers, they would still be a Baritone.

I am so glad he spoke about his voice box being the size of a baritone in the back and tenor in the front, people don't believe that when they're told. He spoke years ago about having his vocal cords looked at because people didn't understand how he can sing so high so powerfully as a tenor, that's when they learned that his vocal cords are the size of a baritone. That's also how he has such range.

Awesome segment with David as usual! Great hearing how he had to learn to bring his tone forward. I went through a stage where I was too piercing being too forward and had to learn to bring it further back (learned via singing/studying David upon discovering him in the mid-2000s). These are great.

Nasal resonance can be supportive for bright voices because a lowered palate shrinks the oral cavity and lets more sound escape through the nose. But sometimes with singing lessons you’ll need a high and raised palate for sound that sounds way more open. Pretty sure a lot of opera sessions involve a raised soft palate

Nearly all classical teachers try to prevent nasal resonance. It can be helpful for releasing breath pressure, but it is also pretty detrimental to the kind of volume that is necessary for operatic singing. There are pros and cons with everything.

Thank you for all you do💕 You are very much appreciated! I felt compelled to share with you the following information for you and your viewers. Please take a screen pic as soon as possible of the channels listed at the bottom before reading them or watching them, so that you have them just in case and you can write them down later. This is due to the censorship.. I haven’t been able to reply to people because of this. This is SO Critically Important.. The Gospel of Jesus Christ --------------- 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV) More over, breathen, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered onto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. A guideline on how to get saved ------------------ A) Admit your a sinner/ Repent!! TURN FROM SIN!!! Romans 3:10 As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. B) Believe in the Lord Jesus and that God raised him from the dead. Romans 10:9 If thou shalt confess with thy mouth The Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt Be saved. C) call upon the name of the Lord Romans 10:9-10 For with the heart man believe unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Ephesians 2:8-10 For by grace are you saved through FAITH and that NOT of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God: NOT of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Please WATCH and add these to your watch list here on KZfaq as we are living in critical times. Again, Please take a screen shot of these channels now and please SHARE them, so we can all know what is going on..and get the TRUTH out and stand up for RIGHTEOUSNESS as children of the most high are to do, and many many brick and mortar churches are NOT preaching sound doctrine, and the ones that I have listed here go by the word of God using the KJV which is the most trusted Bible; all other versions have been corrupted by the Catholic Church. I have tried replying to people, but was unable to due to the censorship. God Bless.
