Brighton Marina, Small Tides

Brighton Marina, fishing the East Wall on a lovely sunny day. The targets were bream and plaice, as I was hoping the summer species would be arriving around now. I'd heard of some reports of bream too, so I had a good chance. The May rot was not so bad fishing here; it had been terrible on my last few trips along the Sussex coast beaches. Watch the video to find out how it fished and spot the dolphins that graced us with their presence.

One of the best channels going, don’t worry about that Wayne guy moving on. He has to keep popping up on other KZfaqbers channels to keep his audience 😢😂🎉

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. I may get time to make a video on the rig, it's hard to fit everything in right now as super busy! Got to get out fishing whilst the weather is nice :-)

gem that was probably a bass i always catch them there on the float rig,plus gar,do you think maybe your plaice snoods were a bit long,its better to know when fish is on,saves fish time,love your enthusiasm,keep at it,the dolphines just make you feel good

Interesting comment. I tend to find shorter snoods work best for the plaice most days. I do like to keep mixing things up though, as sometimes long snoods can work well.

One thing you have to be aware of when fishing up there is like you said baking! when placing a fish on the concrete it will burn the fish

Sometimes I do take a few for the table. But on a hot day like that was, with no way to keep them cool, better they went back.

Whats the best tide fished there I fished last week no good
@ClickBaitGem
@ClickBaitGem 2 ай бұрын
I like fishing there on building tides and have found most fish caught on the flood. Last week it was a bit mixed down there - I fished it three times with one day in particular being very poor I guess due to the rot and loss of colour in the water.

Hi Steve, I would but I've never been to an EFSA meeting. Your best bet is to join the EFSA facebook group and post on there - someone may know.
