To be honest, this is the exact way I like to travel and I don't even have kids haha. I love to travel by train (especially in India!), a good break/nap, and lots of space for spontaneity :)

I am the worst in day one! Ha! I thought I was alone 😂😂😜😜 We also over packed our itinerary for Bali with kids and it was the worst. Live and learn! Great tips!!
