Жыл бұрынI decided to purchase another 4gas detector after the loss of my Tetra 4 gas detector. Im happy with this purchase, the build isnt as strong as the Crowcon brand but it is perfect for what I will be using it for.

That looks good Peter, be interesting how it fairs up in the wet mines over time, water has always been the main problem and keeping a detector dry and clean is near impossible.

Verry interesting, i have a dräger x-am 5600 maybe i buy some of this to compare the values. I never seen a gas detector for this low price. What happens after the 5 years of sensor waranty? Are the sensors exchangeable or just buy a new on? And how to calibrate them? Im a bit concerned, you sad you put the oxigene alarm to 14%, isnt that a bit low? I would stop at a CO2 concentration of 2%, first alarm set to 1,5%. Some hardcorers goes down to 4%, but that is like living at the edge.

Hello mate. I assume after 5 years you get new one. It has a calibration plate with it but maybe cheaper to get new one after 5 years. I set the alarm to 14% because it is set at 19.5% from factory. 19.5% would have been alarming upon entering the ironstone mines I know well. At 14% I get a rough idea when things are going to go bad, as the mine I visit drops to around 13% or lower after that 14 section. Usually on a new mine I'm visiting it is set to around 19.
