There was a very interesting article in the Athletic about Tomi. In Japan, the focus is on technical training - rather than tactical. Children are trained to be able to play with both feet, hence why he's the only player in Arsenal history who has played as RB, RCB, LCB, AND LB.

Martineli is better when starts, and Trossard is the best of the bench. We will need pace on a wing, plus Martineli is vital helping to defend. Martineli is the only player who needs to step up. Most other starters deliver for major parts of the season. And Trossard is one of the best penalty taker if we will see penalty shootout.

Raya White Saliba Gabriel Tomi Partey Rice Odegaard Saka Jesus Nelli Jesus is more suited to the UCL in the 9 position and provides better individual quality than havertz. Havertz can be playing up top in the prem games. Partey Rice Odegaard is our best midfield so we should just play it. Bayern gonna have more on the ball so Martinelli lw is the obvious choice as they will leave space on behind.

I’d got partey in midfield ahead of Jorginho, it was only last season we was saying he was a better DM than Rodri, and upfront I would play Trossard because our chances will be limited and he is the best finisher we have

I would like to see Zini do well as we all do. When he's good, he's so good and creative. I'd start him for the primary reason that we're trying to sell him to Bayern. It's not a good look if he's on the bench imo. But besides that, Im more confident starting Tomi. Tomi and Martinelli were on fire together before Tomi got injured again. They have great chem and if I'm not mistaken Martinelli is more likely to output something when Tomi starts

It’d be suicidal to start Zinchenko with his current form. I’d go with the exact same line-up as Robbie and Lee. Jesus and Trossard can be great impact subs after an hour or so, and I just have a feeling ESR could come in and impact the game with 20-25 minutes to go too. If we can get a goal or two up by/before the 70th minute, we should be able to see the game out on Partey for Jorginho, and Kiwior for Odegaard in the final 10-minutes or so, making it 5-4-1.

@@user-yp1hb3eu8n Zinchenko is by far worse than Kiwior, and Tomiyasu looks a little bit shaky when he plays, he is clearly not as fit as he was before asian cup.. so Kiwior for me is a great option, he just needs to be careful with Sane, and for his goal, even Rice, Jorginho, Gabriel and Saliba are to blame

Yes to this ☝🏼 With Rice at 6 and Jorgi at 8 (his lack of speed will be less of a liability at 8 and his through ball ability could be an asset tonight). Jesus to create a bit of chaos from the left and make our game a bit less one-sided. Bring on Nelli and Trossard in the second half if necessary.

Trossard should start over gabriel, he is our best finisher by far. If we play defensive and counter, we might not get many chances and trossard is the man to put one in for us. He scored in first leg and against porto.

I very much appreciate what Jorginho brings to the team, but he lacked speed in the previous game against FCB. Possible solution: play Rice at 6 and Jorgi at 8 for this game. His vision and through ball ability could be an asset tonight. I would also consider playing Jesus on the left and bring on Trossard and Nelli in the second half.

Martinelli needs to make runs in behind to expose Bayern's CB's lack of pace. This will also create space and chances for others. Arsenal must play at higher tempo or they will be in trouble.
