Bloodletters can be a great tac if you're playing Khorne because of how prevalent Warrior spam is. I always like to take the Hellforged Host in reinforcements if I'm playing against a faction that has either hordes or armoured anti-infantry in case the opponent goes hard on the AP.

Blade singers and exalted blood letters get brought in tourney play, wildwood rangers and normal blood letters are just considered not that good.

@@mariojorge68 exalted bloodletters are actually pretty great with how fast they can buzzsaw stuff. Its just the generic variant that's kind of hit or miss. Bur ya bloodforged host for me are almost autoinclude in most matchups.

@@phantom6014 Oh yes, you're absolutely right! My bad for misinterpreting. Baseline bloodletters are indeed a waste of money, the only exception to this rule being if they're summoned in via cultist.

Depends on the match up. Against Norsca marauder champions or Kislev usually with quite a lot of armor and dwarfs they are great. obviously if the enemy doesn't bring much armored infantry, your expensive high ap infantry is gonna be a waste of money.

its just princes unfortunately, you would have to put a hero in the lord slot if you wanted to go cheap. I don't see any reason why heralds shouldn't be available to DoC, it would make them more diverse and fun to play and be so easy for CA to implement. So it'll probably never happen

@@leojohn1615 Never play 2v2, overwhelming # of matches are 1v1, they are bad in 1v1. 2v2 is a balance-less place.

This has been a long running strategy of GW to replace the more generic faction names with names they could trademark. That's why they want us to call space marines astartes for example.

@@lb2791 The best thing was when they started to highlight their trademarked names in Black Library novels in bold letters - untranslated. I tried to read one of these novels and got ripped out of the story everytime my eyes would hit the bold english word. Last book I did buy from the Black Library.

@@lb2791 Warhammer Fantasy wasn`t profitable enough as far as I understand it. AOS is much easier to sell as a gaming system. It`s still a shame that they nuked the old world and replaced it with Manga style DnD nonsense... I did build a decent Age of Fantasy table last year. The Knights of the White Wolf still ride.

@@TheAlwaysPrepared That's one reason, the other was trademarkability. The two were also linked, as other miniature companies could easily sell minis that replaced GW minis because all the factions were just basic fantasy tropes. Now look at Age of Sigmar factions: They all have some non-generic spin and a totally new faction name that's trademarked by GW. That way it's much harder for other companies to come in and take a piece of the pie.

Belakor is pretty expensive though, you are paying for that tankiness. No need to nerf him into oblivion.

@@ds22342 I fail to see how just putting him a level playing field with every other Daemon Prince and Greater Daemon would be "nerfing him into oblivion". Stacking resists have synergy and 25% missile resist with 20% physical resist means most missiles just don't hurt the guy. Mind you missile resist also covers things like artillery and some spells. It's quite silly currently how many things Be'lakor is taking so little damage from. I suspect that if Be'lakor was properly vulnerable to missiles he'd be a lot less oppressive as he's currently priced. As is players bring what should be a natural counter and Be'lakor ignores it. Being expensive is only a risk if you can't consistently pay for yourself.

Be'Lakor costs a lot even when stripped down; a proportion of missiles and mass equal to Be'Lakor's cost will effectively counter him if your micro's even halfway good.

@@capadociaash8003 Are you kidding here? How was he sniped, he left alive after being locked in place and taking 4ish volleys from two gutter runners and a ratling gun. Any other lord in the game in that early game situation would have been dead ages ago. 25% more damage on the ranged units would have killed even even with the 40% ward save from the shadow shroud, which is appropriate when you throw your lord unsupported directly into a bunch of missile units and monstrous infantry. Be'lakor is unique in his ability to throw himself into what should be absolutely suicidal and then just leave while largely fine. Missiles should punish the guy without the player using him being absolutely suicidal, but as is he can do stupid things and leave scott free unless your opponent puts a huge amount of resources into focusing him, at which point he leaves hurt but able to continue influencing the game for another 10 minutes.

They aren't undivided though...

@@TheTickler You could use them on the tabletop and the god specific warriors are shared. It makes sense to me.

@@Shakahron a lot of things in tabletop were retconned or changed for Warhammer 3. It doesn’t make much sense to me, honestly. They’re both fanatically loyal to their respective gods
