💎 Many people are intimidated at the thought of adding enhancements to their diamond paintings, so today I'm going to share 5 tips with you on how I do it! As always, take the advice/tips which speak to and ignore those that don't. Everything is not for everybody, so remember to make yourself happy! But if you are curious about the process of adding enhancements to your diamond paintings using ABs, crystals, fairy dust, or whatever specialty drills you like, here are 5 tips to help you do that!! 💎

the only time i've used the 310 AB was as a substitute for the black eye of a cardinal on a diamond dotz canvas. on the canvas, they used regular 310, surrounded by 4 white drills (N, S, E, W) - it looked dumb, because cardinals don't have any white around their eyes. so i made all the white black, and for the eye itself, used the 310 AB - it was perfect! --- oh, and i've used it some when i'm looking for a peacock effect - since it has all those different colors. i agree - have fun with it.

I’ve used the 310 ABs just sprinkled in randomly to a night sky, but I just think they look a bit weird otherwise. But it is definitely fun to play around with them, especially now that there are so many kinds of special drills. Thanks for watching!!

Informative video. I have old DAC paintings that did not have many ABs, so I will be adding those. I finished Diana painting from Diamond Paintings Deutschland, and added some ABs and really did not like the way it looked so I stopped. Their beads are very sparkly and do not need enhancements. Just my opinion.😀

This is one of the most helpful videos that I’ve seen. And I was having that come up because I just ordered some extra ones. I do have a question though what size do you buy if you’re looking at Crystal say at Joannes or hobby shop that has different size crystals what is the size that fits the regular round drill size?

Round drills are 2.8mm in diameter, while the square drills are 2.5mm. The Diamond Dotz drills are round (although they do have their mini drills in their masterclass kits now) and they fit other round kits, although they are a smidge taller than other drills. I’ve subbed Diamond Dotz ABs in many kits, including DAC ones and never had a problem with them fitting. Thanks for watching!!
