Solid products, Ive used all the purifica up since filming this now and about half the primus. indeed once you get the primus PIR higher 3-4% it will start melting down road film more. Purifica does seem the condition the paint work and do a good job generally cleaning the car.

I did 50/50 with Labo vs. BH and they are almost the same in cleaning power, maybe litlebit better Labo, I test it with correct PIR, cost in right dilution is about the same (depends package price, for me Labo is cheaper) And Labo have much better foam, so for me Labo is winner here :)

Correct PIR for BH for me is abou 640ml i liter instead of dilution of primus for 1:60 final dilution is just 250ml in liter bottle so even if primus is much more expensive, in the end is cheaper for me and have better foam.

I think the secret to using Purifica in an economical manner is to dilute it in a spray bottle or pump sprayer, spray it on the whole car and then wash it with a wash mitty

Good video Jon. Labocosmetica’s 3pH system wash video inspired me to look to adapt my wash products/methods to maintain my coated car when thought time was aplenty at the start of the pandemic. I was using BH Autofoam as the alkaline product, any decent pH neutral shampoo and Fse as my drying aid every few washes. It spawned some interesting observations and tests on how the process affects non coating products, but I think those Italians are very much onto something.

Two of my favorite products. I use Primus more less every wash and Purifica every fourth. I got some tips from Labocosmetica about alternative application method of Purifica, which I tend to use instead of using at as a regular shampoo: apply either with foam lance (1:4) or pump sprayer (1:10), then while it sits on the surface, wash with their "ordinary" shampoo, Semper. I think this works really well. I keep my car clean and decontaminated so I can't report any revolutionary rejuvenation of my ceramic coating, but it definitely is a good cleaner. One place is did notice some rejuvenation was on my window coating, though. That was brought back to life again. Labocosmetica has a new iron remover, Sidero, that I'm looking forward to trying out. Apparently it also has anti mineral properites as well.

I think I would use it in a pump sprayer then wash it with a general shampoo like Reset. That would be much more economical and I think just as effective.

Are you satisfied with Semper shampoo? I tried few days ago,with 2 caps in 10L water with microfiber washing glove. But didn't get any foam at all.

Primus is probably one of the best products i foud since 2019. For people with ceramic coatings is just excelent to remove the Road film and to avoid the overlaying of contamination generated by the extended use of ph neutral soaps. Gentle yet very effective. My advise is look out for their washing cicle method.

This video was great, talking about suficants, acid and alkalines and how they do different things to dirt and deposits (just not coatings), and how using multiple chemicals/products is the way to go, no one product can or will do everything.

Some things here to mention: Labo guys almost always are spraying the lower part of the car with Ductile or Primus in dilutions recommend for sprayers. To not waste product from the bucket, keep the bucket closer to you and to your car (the panel where you are applying.

I have to say anything Italian is brilliant quality, food, cloths cars, skin care. But I'm trying to stick to British only brands which is really easy with bilt hamber, dodo juice, autoglym, autofinness. Excellent review again Jon, these look like good products, perhaps a bit pricy for me but still interested in seeing what else is in the market

Hello Jon, about Purifica there is bit missunderstanding here, it isnt mean for using as normal shampoo in bucket, it just helping agent to remove mineral deposits, as Labocosmetica says in their 3ph wash, better value you will get use it it foam lance do not rinse and imediately wash with PH shampoo in to it, its need contact wash to remove these mineral deposits, or if you want to go very economical, use it in pump sprayer (not foam sprayer) with right dilution of 1:60 (which is abot 16ml of product in liter, I use 20ml and is enought for whole car then its reasonably economical thats about 1 pound probably?) on parts as back of the car and lower pars of doors you can use 1:10 to have realy strong remove of these mineral deposit in part where it is needed most. Hope that clarify situation better! thank you for your videos! :)

Also Primus you can use for better result 1:10 in sprayer and hit areas like lower parts and rear to get great final result of the prewash. btw that 3ph wash is especialy made for cermaic coating to renew it and get hydrofobity back, on cars with just wax its useless to use it.

I cant go back and watch my video but Im pretty sure I said you can use it in a pump sprayer. but as a reviewer I want to use it in a bucket wash. this review would not be a review if you did not talk about the huge cost per wash. Im pretty sure I also said you can mitigate it because you wont use this product for routine washes and you can buy their normal shampoo for that process. but the fact stands the chemical cost of this is very high and you have to state this.

I'm sorry english is not my main language so maybe I miss something :) of corse if you use it as you did in bucket the price is totaly huge, I can't contradict that, but there is till way to use it and get results which you need from this product and it doesn need to cost fortune, I'm professinal detailer (I hope I can say that) and using primarly Labo producst so I have lot of experience with it, especialy on ceramic coating where contamination of coating is problem in lower parts and back of the car because road contamination is different than on siting panel (you know on road there is tons of junk especialy in winter with road salting), these product can really bring back beeding on ceramic coating, I prove it to myself on my cars, it is not magical that it can bring back every coating to live but it really works for it's purpose, I just want to put my different experince through my eyes here and how I look at it. thanks once again and have a nice day! :)

My last few cars have fortunately been 5 spoke wheels. I can only imagine how much of a pain cleaning this mesh wheels must be. I will say though, that vikan brush is fantastic. They only somewhat recently became available in the states and I love mine.

I used this at 10:1 in a snow foam lance and it worked really well. However, my results are probably skewed due to my age old habit of using Green Star first in a pump sprayer and then layering it with snow foam. However, Auto Foam is cheaper and probably best to stick with it. Oh and Cronos is amazing!

Love their products i am wonder which could be a better snow foam primus or autofoam from BH ? For summer NEVE could be better since is ph neutral but for winter or heavy contamination BH or primus ? Great video and awesome review

I really like to protect a car in the winter with gyeon bathe+ via the foam cannon. Really quick and easy. 7-10 pumps of product and 350-400 ml of water and turn the knob thing to max. Works better than shampoo in bucket method and easier and more fun. I have the kärcher k7 and dr.dirt foam lance.

Wow Jon, I would like to say great minds think alike but I would be doing you a disservice sir. I reviewed Labocosmetica on my channel yesterday. I used the snow foam (NEVE) & shampoo (SEMPER) and really enjoyed them.I thought both were top quality products. Im not a snow foam fan but I really took to NEVE. I have a few more on the shelf to try out. I bought my products from Clean & Shiny if anyone is interested where to get them from.

@@forensicunplugged4295 I have PRIMUS on the shelf to try out and also their spray on rinse off sealant BENEFICIA. Its the only sealant my Son will use on his car. I bought it primarily to use on my Harley as it gets into all the nooks & crannies. I hope you try SEMPER out. My top shampoo is GT one car shampoo but SEMPER is also very good but a lot dearer. Hello Jon, i've made the switch to Lacosmetica products, and i really like them so far. i am wondering if i could use Primus or Purifica (have them both) after polishing to get a prepped state of the paint. Would be far more economical then using Veritas as a panel before applying a sealant. What's your opinion on this ? Thank you.

Really sad to see Primus performing so poor. Maybe have a go with Ductile as well and compare it to Surfex? Also, I had good result using Energo diluted 1:4 for decarbonising the exhaust tip. Don' t see the point in Cronos.

the biggest problem is even if the performance was the same pound for pound, its 3-4 times more expensive. so thats why I keep going back to Autofoam all the time (great results and hard to beat value). purifica though ironically is more expensive but has a USP and less competition.

Why is it that I clean my car and do the decom ,paint correction and use all the latest sealants - spend loads of time ;car looks great - rains overnight - no beading just blobs - any thoughts - why bother? just use a detail spray? after overnight rain

it should not really be like this Rob. your describing full prep there.. really you should be able to get 2-4 weeks Strong beadage. Jelly beans I called them. Even bad prep would not cause the beadage to drop overnight. Do you park under a tree?

I hate the word ‘strip’ when it comes to cleaning products... ‘stripping’ is better left to aircraft paint strippers which have a caustic PH level of 13-14 and staff in certain clubs. Think you have proved nothing ‘strips’ coatings other than mechanical means. PH ‘this and that’ is just marketing.
