@@natasha.richardson we are getting our Australian labradoodle in 4 weeks. Nobody knows outside our immediate family. Is Louie Australian labradoodle? Medium or Mini? just trying to learn from your experience. Thanks in advance.

@@bentorres2727 That’s great news. You must be so excited! Louie is an F1b miniature labradoodle, not Australian. He was the biggest of the litter so was a bit larger than the others. His mum was a miniature labradoodle and his dad was a miniature poodle. They’re all so different. A friend of mine also bought a pup from the same litter as Louie and she has straight hair compared to Louie’s curly coat. And speaking of hair, that would be my biggest tip. They’re quite high maintenance so give him/her a little brush everyday and that’ll help you stay on top of it. It’ll be the best fun! I wish they were puppies for longer!

Yes he’s miniature. ☺️ But he was the biggest of the litter. He was a very “chunky” pup compared to his brothers and sisters, and that’s where the nickname came from.

Louie is miniature so is just a little bigger than a spaniel, fully grown. But you do get full size labradoodles if one parent is a full sized poodle. I have a few other videos where you can see how big Louie is now.

He was 9 weeks old. He was a lot bigger than the rest of the litter though so probably looks a little older. 🐶

Oh he definitely went through his biting phase. Especially with me. I couldn’t walk from one room to the next for a while without him nipping at my legs. But he grew out of it and never bites now. We didn’t do any special training. He just naturally stopped. 🙂
