Stevo visits the NEC Autosport International 2024 show. Today it’s a look at a live race with the BriSCA F1 cars from the live action arena. Frankie Wainman Jnr #515 is in the spotlight. The show is visited on the trade days of the Autosport International Show 2024 with SLR.tv at the Birmingham NEC.

F1 Stock Cars Live Action Arena Commentary
Approaching the start line with the drone of Lancaster bombers.
Being led out by
326 Mark Sargent from Spalding, 259 Paul Hines of Hinckley, 345 Jake Harrhy - Coventry & James Hall Morton - Cleckheaton.
Listen to the screech of those tyres clawing the surface looking for the adhesion.
Taking an early lead of 3 car lengths down the back straight is 132 James Hall Morton.
L2.
515 Frankie Wainman Jnr emerging now in the lead, followed by 212 Danny Wainman & 175 Karl Hawkins in close attendance for 3rd.
Making a dash down the back straight is number 276 Mark Pool of Stoke on Trent to 4th = as we go into lap 2.
Seizing the lead on the back straight is Karl Hawkins with a meteoric Adrenalin boost of propulsion from car 276 Mark Pool right into the front of the order but taking the corner broadsides sending Jake Harrhy fishtailing up the front straight like a shopping trolley on 3 wheels into the lead. Meanwhile it’s 4 abreast behind your leader.
L3.
Number 175 Karl Hawkins with no shortage of ambition steam rolling through looking for the lead as we enter lap 3. 555 Frankie Wainman jnr jnr & 217 Lee Fairhurst shoulder to shoulder in 3rd & 4th positions.
345 Jake Harrhy has launched it up the back straight with a commanding lead of 4 car lengths but folds like a wet towel on the corner being eclipsed by 217 Lee Fairhurst who has the momentum & wind in his sails taking the lead as we move into lap 4.
L4.
259 Paul Hines is looking dangerous on the inside with a burst of power from a squeeze of the loud pedal, 326 Mark Sargent not taking any prisoners on the main straight either showing a strong 3rd place being pestered by 345 Jake Harrhy from behind.
Things getting serious as they swap paint on the rear straight but Lee Fairhurst holding out like the last man at the Alamo heading into the corner like a Cruise missile but broadsides the corner after a shunt from 212 Danny Wainman taking avoiding action round the outside and getting a firm knock on the back door from 259 Paul Hines,
It’s bump & grind as they look to stamp their authority on this race in order to lift the silverware.
L5.
Emerging out of the corner with 1 lap to go is James Hall-Morton followed by 3 a breast 217 Lee Fairhurst, 175 Karl Hawkins & 555 Frankie Wainman Jnr Jnr.
Maintaining 3 a breast on the rear straight.
It’s all to play for with just over half a lap to go.
Hugging the inside line is 259 Paul Hines demonstrating superior race craft and surely it’s his to loose. 515 Frankie Wainman Jnr has gone deep into the corner and has got into the back of the 326 Mark Sargent car using it as a brake.
4 abreast emerging out of the last corner,
259 Paul Hines reaches for the line but can’t stop the adrenaline fuelled 515 Frankie Wainman Jnr turning on the afterburners and taking the victory on the line demonstrating his triple world crown crudentials.
There’s your winner then 515 Frankie Wainman Jnr, oh he’s swapped ends on the apex of the corner, sitting stationary and now faces the oncoming traffic.
