The words 'This snowflake is an avalanche' appears to be a reference to a song by Idles (as kindly pointed out in the comments below) with some very strong words. Search Google for 'Idles I’m scum lyrics' for the words.

In 2017 we refurbished the grave of Antonio Williams, a veteran of the US Navy and Medal of Honor receipient, who died in the city and is buried in Greenbank Cemetery.

I rather enjoyed this cemetery. However, I do agree it could be better cared for and I, too, don't care for the laying down of headstones or parts of them to protect unsupervised children playing where they should not. I thought it rather nice and kind to bury those who died during the bombings during WWII and at least give each a headstone of remembrance. My Father survived the Belfast Blitz with his parents although their small home was damaged. My Dad lost a number of his school mates during that time and never wanted to talk about it. Such a sad time in our history no matter where you were at the time.

Almost certainly BAC stood for Bristol Aeoplane Company during the war.
