XG came at the right time and gave the right vibes. All the 90's kids will feel the nostalgia with this group. It's that good feeling of childhood combined with a refreshing twist that just ties it all together. And the girls actually look like they are fun in the video. They are super talented and I wish they would get more followers

XG is a global girl group based in South Korea but is made up of all Japanese members, which is why they sing in all English in their official songs. They are also a hip-hop RnB based group at you can very much tell from their newest releases Shooting Star and Left Right and their whole vibe as a group is sooooooo cool and nostalgic😊 I recommend their extra showcasing talent vids: Tape #1 Chill Bill (Jurin and Harvey) Tape #2 Xgalz Xypher (Cocona,Maya,Harvey and Jurin)

I'm just glad you finally saw XG's comeback, as an elder millennial I knew Left Right would definitely get you hooked, it's giving me and my hubby all the nostalgia 💜 Also, show your friends GALZ XYPHER, I'm not sure you realize those rappers are the same ones in XG. Might wanna throw in the MDR It's Live version of Shooting Star, it gave me goosebumps. As far as not reacting right away, tbf XG's first two songs were good, but didn't blow me away. This comeback was immaculate, though, and the older songs hit different after hearing this comeback. They also have a documentary coming out soon showing how the girls got into the group, I think right on their channel.

Same, their debut song and mascara was good but their dance and vocal vids made me a fan. I think what’s different about this comeback was that this is the genre and type of song the girls really connect with and so their execution was off the rails. I hope they continue with it.

Jurin said in one of their recent interviews that the R&B and hip hop sound from this comeback is their identity as a group. I hope that's true, because this sound is absolute fire and the world needs more of it.

XG is the first girl group that I have ever been crazy about. They are a group that is both talented and many things. They are also the only group that reminds me of the nostalgia of the 90's. Even if you don't know them, their songs will make you feel nostalgic 😊.

I'm glad you finally acknowledged that XG is just different. You cant lump them into Kpop and be done. You didn't seem to notice that they sing in English, but they can do that to you. Their English is seamless so you dont even notice you're listening to an Asian girl group. Their producers are international, multicultural, diverse. There is a reason you can play Left Right for your Black friends. It isn't posing, it isn't fake, it is a genuine homage to R&B and as someone who grew up on the music of the 70s, 80s and 90s, this gives me the feels.

XGs "Left Right" is a total 90s-2000s vibe! It just hits differently. We need more music like this...music that makes sense! "Left Right" is #35 on the US Mediabase top 40! Is there another GG that can make the US mediabase top 40? That debuted a year ago and with only 4 songs! I can't! XG Alphaz.

I automatically became Alphaz the moment i heard shooting stars followed by Left Right. As a 90’s kid, only XG made me feel the 90’s/Y2K vibes again [out of all the 4th gens]. From the beats to the videos and outfits oh my gosh! Watch their song association games. I was literally shocked when they named their idols. One of them is Lauren Hill. 😊😍❤

When I first learned about these guys, I fell in love with them almost instantly. It feels like listening to RnB while doing my home work 20 something years ago. Their songs, voices, dance moves, etc, brings back the feeling of being a teenager again. Let's go XG, take me back to the 90s!

I don't know what it is with XG but you can just tell how in tune they are as an R&B/hip-hop group from the second you hear them. They just have the sound, the moves, the style that no other girl group could mimic, like I could see them blending into the American pop scene with this hit. And its like you said, they're tapping into that 90s/2000s R&B sound with "Left Right" and it's so crazy hearing it from a J/K-Pop group, so it just feels so right calling them an R&B group
