The thing is there is no mains or leads in Mamamoo, nor they have a visual position, people base this info on sites that introduce them which are not accurate (Mamamoo members never introduced themselves as such, nor they are introduced as such in their official site) their positions: the official *Performance/dance line:* Moonbyul, Wheein *Vocal line:* Solar, Wheein, Hwasa *Rapper line:* Moonbyul, Hwasa and the Leader is Solar and the maknae (the youngest) is Hwasa, also Solar is in charge of the high notes/belting that is why some ppl assume that she is the "main vocal"

They're referred to as the vocal queens for a reason in this industry, they never disappoint. I would actually recommend watching "Paint Me", it's a recent ballad of theirs which just involves a piano, and the highlight is their vocals.. and it's absolute perfection. Simple, yet powerful.

Some pointers: Mamamoo said that they had a concept for this comeback and it was the 4 seasons. Plus they each got a characteristic to them, Hwasa *Floral dress, Brunette* was the Flower, Solar *Long hair blonde one* was the Sun, Wheein *Short hair second blonde* was Wind and I think she got that cause her name sounds kinda like the word wind and finally our amazing *rapper* Moonbyul got Star (she uses the word MoonStar when she raps occasionally. They are an amazingly gifted group when it comes to vocals specifically and they are really different than the rest of the other ggs out there. Thank you a lot for your reaction and i am hoping that you will check out more of their mvs cause they are constantly killing it!

In this song, Mamamoo showed us how well they control their vocal, from low deep voice to high note, to show their vocal technique. Mamamoo is really well-known in Korea for their singing talent. Their major audiences is Korean so they are not internationally popular. And they aim to become a singer group, not an idol group cuz in Korea, they think there is difference between idols and singers. And Mamamoo is the first group to break that though. And due to “all the members wanted to try different genres so we could face the challenge with excitement”, if you listen to more Mamamoo songs, you will find that most of their songs, each one is not like another. You should totally react to mamamoo their vocals are freaking great srsly !! Each member can sing so well like srsly so well and their rapper moonbyul is not like any other rapper from a kpop girl group she has a very unique style, her deep voice makes it so unique from other high pitch rapper and she wrote her own rap. Mamamoo is totally differen from a kpop girl group they are way way far from that, the music industry in korea think of mamamoo as a Group of artist not a kpop idol. MAMAMOO are known for their astounding vocalists, their mature approach to their music has gained them popularity from many people, guys and girls (unlike how it typically is with girl group fandoms being typically males). Their songs are highly original in my opinion. Give “piano man” and “yes I am” a listen :))

If you want a rap track of theirs, look for 1cm taller. (The company actually came up with the idea of the song just from the girls' bantering about being one cm taller than the other, and what happened afterwards was a whole rap diss track from the members to the members.) Otherwise, if you look for high quality, live, packed with harmony performances, look for their Immortal Songs performances.

That rapper is moonbyul, and she’s one of my ultimate biases 💓💗 she had a solo debut recently with the song selfish! The song at the end was hwasa’s (black hair) song! It’s called be calm. The girl you kept saying was gorgeous is solar, the leader. You should definitely check out more mamamoo, I really like you’re the best, paint me, yes I am, mr ambiguous, and decalcomanie! (Some of my personal favourites are Dance to the Rhythm, Love Story of a Girl and Backwoods). Of their own songs I'd definitely suggest Piano Man and Yes I Am. And 1 cm Taller if you want their crazier side.

ahhahah bruh, you need to dive into mamamoo, as a musician I'd say that this is the group that I most respect from kpop, try to listen "immortal songs" by mamaoo, it's a tv show where kpop artist sing older great songs from korea and around the world, they have the best vocals in kpop industry in my opinion, hope you see this man, you would turn into a moomoo after that haha

You need to react to some of their live performances on immortal songs 2. The premise of the show is to use the songs of either a singer or a songwriter who is legendary and have other singers reinvent the classic song. The audience votes on which song they like the best. Mamamoo is an established favorite on the show. Their MVs are awesome but their live performances aren’t too be missed. I would definitely recommend Mamamoo Immortal Songs 2 “Delilah” and “Take A Minute” performances.
