I live in Israel in a city near Gaza. For 20 years they send missiles at us and we remain silent. Children, families and innocent citizens have been harmed all these years. It is a very complicated and sad matter that countries that do not understand meddle in Israel's problems. Thank you for understanding and that you were able to be moved by the song. Instead od voting for my country, Croatia, I voted for Israel. Edend did a marvelous job, she sang from her heart loudly and proudly. And in spite of all the low life people booing in the audience, or maybe because of them, she was so fearless and undeterred and determined to deliver. And she did. But I think she meant to highlight how we can find it in us to forgive it here and there but can't forgive them for choosing a path of hatred and death for their children in which we became who we are not in order to defend our right to exist in the land. No, we can not forgive them for killing, but when we look at their mindset, we can see how they are forbidding their light entirely with their choices. And by them....I mean the leadership and the supporters. Not every single individual in their society.

There is a difference between Israel and Russia such as: Israel was attacked in 7.10 and Russia was not attacked, it started a war on Ukraine. The reality is that some countries They are allowed to attack and start a war against Israel and when Israel responds "an inappropriate response" When Hamas Daesh, a murderous terrorist organization, invades Israel and commits massacres, murders, fires thousands of rockets into Israel, rapes and burns and kidnaps and Israel responds with an "inappropriate response". When demonstrators against Israel call for the murder of Jews in the world and demonstrate physical violence and the police are forced to demonstrate an "excessive reaction".

As a swede I’m embarrassed of the way the public reacted during the show. And also the “professional” juries. Remember the people’s voice at the end. We tried to show you what we really think of all this and of the wonderful Eden. What a fantastic artist! (I knew from the start how the Swedish jury would wrote, that was the woke elite talking. Not the majority of the swedes.) We are in chock and really hate the loud screaming minority which are using our open society and democracy to behave badly. You should be very proud of Eden. She is a very talented, beautiful and brave young woman. ❤

I don't know how you manage to keep all the comments positive on this page, what kind of sorcery this is :) but it is BEYOND appreciated. Eden is an amazing talent, and just 20 years old. One year older than Naama Levy, Daniella Gilboa, Karina Arayev, Agam Berger, and Liri Elbag - all 19-year-old girls that are still in captivity in Gaza along with about 130 others, many of whom are already gone, all of whom have loved ones whose lives in the last 7 months have become a nightmare. Pray for this storm to pass and this nightmare to end, for everyone, on both sides, this cannot go on.

Thank you for your honest response. I must point out that there is a huge difference between Israel and Russia..Israel did not start this war! But she will not remain indifferent to what her enemy has done and is now trying to do, which is the destruction of the entire country and all its citizens, including the 2 million Arabs who live in it! if you are human and have feelings then yes, it is hard to remain indifferent when Eden conveys so many feelings of loss, pain and shock that the State of Israel went through on October 7th...but there is also hope and faith that we will have better days! What do you mean Israel didn't start this? If I recall correctly, there was no Israel before WW2. And even after WW2 you didn't stay in the areas that were given to you. This song is inspired by October 7, 2023, when Hamas launched a missile attack and a mass infiltration of terrorists towards Israel. The tree is inspired by one of the symbols of Israel's military units, Golani. This is mainly the military unit that went in to fight terrorists in Gaza and many of its soldiers were murdered. This song is Al about the massacre on October 7. The hostages held in the tunnel(when she sits on the couch), the dancers represent those who died at the music festival. We are all still broken from this hurricane. Thank you for this video. This video means so much for the Jewish community. The song's original name was October Rain and I highly recommend watching her performance of it with the original lyrics, or at least look up a comparison of the lyrics in each version. It hits different when you find out that "promise me you'll hold me again" is actually "promise me that NEVER AGAIN". And that in the end the Hebrew is also different and says "they were all good children, just children".
