Oh yes Coldplay has always been big here in the USA. I love their music. This was one of the best Super Bowl half time shows.

I remember there was people not only having issues with Beyoncés performance but they insisted coldplay was pushing the " gay agenda " when in actuality coldplay is just a colorful ass band. I hated a lot of people's reactions to this super bowl. It was fantastic

Bey and Bruno came and shut it down. The energy was crazy. Coldplay was a nice, chill vibe. I loved that they all sung together at the end

There was a cute bit in Carpool Karaoke where James Corden drove Chris Martin to the Super Bowl. The message of this entire show is one of the most wonderfully positive I've ever seen but I never noticed how short Bruno Mars is!

Actually this was one of the more controversial half time shows with Beyoncé’s odd to the Black Panther movement in the first song. But many conservatives get riled up either with scantily glad dancers and suggestive moves, along with left leaning political messages. But these artists usually have the best halftime shows. We can’t go back to the lame entertainment of marching bands and boring singers. The bar has been set too high.

Love Coldplay. I've seen them live twice at the Global Citizen Festival in NYC (2015&2021). Chris Martin is a big ambassador for Global Citizen. I've seen Beyonce at the same festival in 2015, and she certainly puts on a show.

this is my favorite superbowl halftime show because I was a 6th grader at the time and it was my first time hearing about coldplay. And now Im in my senior year of high school :(

My best part of this show is Bruno Mars and Beyonce performance. I am a Bruno Mars fan to this very day the guy is unbelievable both vocally and dance wise in every way. When he show up he is going to show out.

Apparently, the price range depends on the venue and who's playing. For 2022, on Ticketmaster which is the NFL's official ticket marketplace, ticket packages ranged from $3,100-$75,000 with the most expensive single ticket being $180,000. However, that's only what's listed because the most elite seating prices aren't even listed publicly and you have to be at a certain wealth level to be in the know.😬

Love the reactions. SB tickets this year started at $5,600 and averaged $9,000, with VIP list at $81,000. Plus they are hard to get, even if you have the money.

To answer your question yes Coldplay is huge over here in America. I saw them live in 2017 and that was by far my biggest concert and I've been to 11concerts. That concert had about 67,000 people

I was not a Coldplay fan at all . I was one of the people questioning why they were even asked. I was shocked at the performance they were terrific. When you add in Beyoncé and Bruno I think it was one of the best halftime shows

Bro,come on,no emotions for the tribute? And yeah,they weren't amazing,Chris was moving all the time,he didn't have good breathing! But they were so sentimental,and with some of the greatest songs of all time! Actually,all the songs he sang are in the best. Viva La Vida is the fourth greatest song ever. And they are the best band of all time,and this is the best Super Bowl only because of them alone! Think about it when you DO add Beyonce and Bruno! But whatever,have no emotions for the legends they respected. This will be the greatest Super Bowl,everyone says so. Be like that if you want

I'm sooooo happy you got to see this show because this is my 2nd Best halftime show. My all time favorites: 1). Michael Jackson 2). Beyonce/Bruno Mar/Coldplay 3). Dr. Dre, Snoop, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, etc.

Bruno Mars was the headline for 2014 Super Bowl with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Did you know Bruno Mars was born in Honolulu, Hawaii? I'm proud so proud of him representing our state Hawaii.🌴😎🤙

I would LOVE to be one of the dancers/extras performing at the Super Bowl halftime show, or the Olympics opening ceremonies. Closest I’ve ever gotten was just after the Persian Gulf War, at a Bob Hope special honoring the troops, and there were probably close to 1000 dancers on the field. It was so much fun!

The halftime show always tries to fit in with the host city so it was appropriate that they had a hippie theme to this one considering that they were playing in the home stadium of the San Francisco 49ers (yeah I know the location is actually Santa Clara).

Super Bowl isn't just the Sunday game. It is an entire week of events for football fanatics and pre-bowl concerts. I had a friend from Texas go to the 50th (this game) in Santa Clara CA. Lodging everywhere in the Bay Area jumped sky high, food, activities, transport. With airfare and tixs he was out 5 grand.

I LOVE the respect you all give to these Half-Time shows. And YOU are absolutely RIGHT about the Half-Time being the main event of the Super Bowl. Believe it or not, the COMMERCIALS were the main event for me back in the day, then the Half-Time and lastly the actual GAME. HOWEVER, since the coming of the internet, my perspective changed to where the Half-Time show became the MAIN EVENT then the COMMERCIALS and lastly the actual GAME. Why the internet? Well, with the internet, you were able to see the COMMERCIALS several days before the actual GAME. So the COMMERCIALS were no longer that important to me and the Half-Time shows have gotten so much better as well. My OBSERVATION: I've noticed that the Artists from the UK like Coldplay and OTHERS usually DO NOT have back-up dancers whereas, for the most part, the US Artists tend to go all out with dancers and all. Ain't nothing wrong with it but just an observation. BTW, I wasn't familiar with Coldplay until this performance but I've heard their songs before though.

Growing up, it was deemed gay to like coldplay. I still get flack from friends for loving them as much as I do. They are really slept on here in America.

Actually thought it was an odd combination but it worked. Thought Coldplay was good, but the show was really best with Bruno and Beyoncé. Coldplay has lost some of its luster here in the U.S., but they really have had few recent big hits so that could change if they produce more interesting music.

Coldplays anti testosterone almost ruined the game. Super Bowl tickets started at $6500 but if you have the cash you can usually get a couple tickets a week before but you’ll pay
