They fail to acknowledge the 2017 Manchester Arena bombing as a hate crime. Did they interview the victim's families and how it made them feel? Or over 1000 victims who were injured? Did the police reach out to local churches in Manchester? I'm genuinely curious. That attack was racially motivated as well. What was the response.

Sweden is a big lesson to learn. Diversity brings only problems.

To overload any place with people of incompatible cultures is only asking for trouble. Especially when those who reside in said place never asked for it.

A YEAR OF HATE? I'm 54 and this has been happening as long as I can remember, and it's only getting worse.

Immigration and multi culturalism is a big problem in UK

Hate is seen as a quick fix for complex problems. I was an American that lived in the UK for 5 years and experienced hate. However, I also discovered many people who were kind and funny. Racism in the UK is nothing new, but being able to stand up to it is. This was a surprisingly beautiful film about an ugly subject.

Something has gone horribly wrong in Britain the last 20 years.

I was born in the UK, Caucasian, English as they come. But I emigrated 24 years ago to a country which has few immigrants and I did my best to integrate into my new home by learning their language and cultural believes, and understanding what actions if any that I did might insult their beliefs. I made sure to stick to the culture and laws of that country, even if I didn't agree with them. As a result, I have been accepted by the local communities and have never ever experienced any racism against me. I still watch UK TV 'online' and I'm shocked by what I see. It's so different from how I grew up in the UK. What has caused all these problems? In my opinion, causes are diversity forced upon the native population, too many immigrants who refuse to integrate, a police force and government who are cowed by those who want to force their foreign culture upon the native population. If I initiated any of the hate crime events featured in your film, I would be arrested immediately, jailed and then deported, (that is if the local community didn't lynch me first).

Racism is not definitive to England or Western Civilisation. Racism is evident in all countries. Racism unfortunately is a human flaw from inception. The only way to curb it is to improve access to greater levels of education, safe and clean housing, work opportunities for all and enforced laws with justice, fairness and ethics for all. Racism is exacerbated in society when theres inequality, double standards, injustice, unemployment and poverty stricken neighbourhoods/boroughs.

I’m Asian and have faced cases of racism all my life. It will never go away but I understand the majority of people are great and those that hate are generally ignorant and insecure.

I cannot understand why patriotism/nationalism is called racism nowadays? Why love for your country is called fascism? What is wrong with this world nowadays?

Accountability here and now, no ideology should hide in religion, nor religion sleep with ideology to prevail.

Interesting video. It’s rather surprising how black or brown folks are so innocent when it comes to racism . I spent six years in West Africa ten years ago. Quite honestly, during my time there I personally experienced horrendous racism on a regular basis.

Centuries ago some people of European descent decided that they were superior to others worldwide. History shows this to be true. Even the people of Ireland were treated horribly and they are of European origin. This behavior is the result of a mindset that has been taught. People are not born this way. Just watch children play and you can witness it firsthand.

Theft, shoplifting, assault, family violence, and the much ignored grooming and sexual assault of minors. Suddenly we have young women in Berlin, Vienna, Paris and Amsterdam, who say they don’t feel safe on the streets any longer, because they fear being attacked by non-Europeans. And the prompt response from Brussels: „Well, perhaps you should consider staying home or leaving the house accompanied by a male family member.“ I‘m Swiss, married to a Welshman, who told me, that it would be very dangerous for us to hold hands in public in places like Leeds or Manchester, because there are „people, who might take it as an insult of their religion“. Religion?! Which religion is that? I‘ve lived in seven and visited over sixty countries, and been attacked twice. And both times, non-white, non-Europeans were the attackers.

One of the values of Britain is to let govt recolonize the land with foreign people and displace the host population. To be tolerant i.e. let it happen until either a civil war breaks out or Britain itself becomes a foreign country.

This doco fails when you ask the senior police officers and the freaking major. Politics is just words and no action. It's very simple how we all got to this point, and fixing it is a monster of complexity that requires love not hate. But what is there left to love?

Our education... Lack of something to do... Parents are useless.. All factors make these issues a problem..😔

Was anything done for all of those murdered young people from that concert? Did they catch the killers? What did the community do for those kids and their loved ones.

It’s the different cultures and religions, in the same country, that are causing the issues. If you move to a different country you should assimilate into the culture. Not try to have your own culture and religion in the host country. It ALWAYS causes division. Share foods, non religious holidays & clothing, but not child marriage, female intimate mutilation, paedo, etc. What the radical side of religion says about infidels is incendiary to many people. That’s the issues this documentary does not discuss. Violence is NOT the answer to social questions. It’s just not a good idea to have such differences in cultures living in the same area. In a perfect world we’d all get along. Maybe one day?

What you do as a youth can certainly effect your future

I’m a black man who grew up in a white area. You never get used to being called a racial slur then it could have some malicious intent then leads to getting hurt in a blink of an eye. Anyone can experience hate including white people too. But sadly in the modern age, many people just want to grift off of people’s sufferings for their own selfish interests and desires.

A year of hate or people tired of being unfairly treated compared to others? Maybe it's not just hate when it's happening in multiple countries at the same time. Things are more complex and painting events in one light doesn't make your statements true.

Here in the States it has definitely happened, cause I've experienced it first hand on a public transit bus that was headed out to Redmond Washington state. A woman screamed the N word multiple times at me, then threatened to stab me with her knife ( I didn't see one). This was in 2010. Again I had it happen in 2017 by a NON WHITE person who thinks she is, she screamed the same racial slur while kicking & punching my door all I did was tap my wall while she was beating up & tormenting my next door neighbor. This was in Renton WA. My goal one day will be to live in Ghana Africa , Jamaica, or the Carribean islands.

As a black person, racism is a normal thing that black people face everyday from all the other races. Its healthy to experience racism so you will understand how it feels to be discriminated. It should teach you to accept and respect others that are different from you, your own race, religion, nationality or gender. Who feels it knows it.
