I've seen a lot of these videos with the American girl and the British girl in it, I'm from the easy coast like her and I can relate to her so much 💀, as for the British girl idk what the heck she's taking about except for the a couple of things but that's cause I ain't from England, I wanna learn how to do an accent like hers because it sounds so neat and fancy

She giving me major Emily Blunt The Devil Wears Prada vibes with that passive aggressive and entitled mannerism, and even look-wise with he red hair and fair skin, though physically she looks more like Emilia Clarke. Both very gorgeous girls. The American girl certainly looks too exotic for a white girl in the US. She looks like she is from somewhere in Eastern Europe. Very beautiful feline eyes and fair skin. not necessarily. I'm in China Shanghai but stayed in Australia for three years and the people around me generally have a terrible sounding half-baked American Chinese accent rolled into one. I've only met two people in the whole of China that would be ruled by me into having a decent American accent. Me, I've stayed in Sydney for three years and I'm mostly the British accent but pronounce the vowels the American way, but I can do either thorougly. In Spain, being in Europe, we start learning English at the age of 6 nowadays (it used to be later in the 80's) and we're used to the British way of saying things. However, there's a great deal (another UK expression) of media showing American movies, shows, documentaries, KZfaqrs, that made foreign learners end with a mix of both worlds.

In Taiwan, when we learn English, we learn the American accent. However, I went to learn English in Sheffield, England one summer when I was in college. That year is 1997. It just took me almost two weeks to finally understand "schedule" in English accent when my homestay hostess pointed to my schedule and said, "According to your schedule." By the way, at the language school, the English teachers always tried to "fix" our American accent. They really didn't like it.

@@CoolDude-jp1kj I know. But the Brits seem very nice to Canada and Australia. But when they hate America, isn't it because of rivalry? Historically, the UK is the parent and the US is the son, but today the US is bigger than the UK in terms of economy, military, influence, etc., so it seems to me that the UK is rivaling them. Well, I am an outsider and these are just my opinions.

@@delrey874 as a British person I can say that I personally don’t hate America neither does a lot of British people HOWEVER we do find Americans to be annoying when they act superior to us and criticise the way we speak OUR language acting like they’re right. Idc how Americans speak I just don’t want them criticising the way we speak.

I come from an Asian country. Personally I love American accent and don’t like British one. American accent sounds more softly and comfortably for me to listen.

American English is a rhotic accent, meaning we pronounce all "R"s even in the middle and end of words. England is considered "non-rhotic" where "R"s are dropped except for the beginning of words and cerain defined places. The interesting thing is that people in the Americans actually sound closer to what British English sounded at the time when the colonies were established. The modern British accent has evolved over the last 300 years to sound the way it does. There are also more variants in accents in the UK and Ireland than there are in the U.S.
