Panglao island is one of the most beautiful parts of Bohol. Today we see what it might be like living in a place like this. We visit Shaka cafe and see Alona beach before swimming at the Bohol beach club.
Our names are Jmayel, Sacha & Story. We traveled to the Philippines Siargao island and fell in love with island life, now we want to make that life more permanent.

Bohol is a beautiful province. I have a pilot friend (of Indian descent) whose parents settled there long time and says good things about his hometown.

I had the privileged of touring bohol 12 yrs ago and it gave me a glimpsed of what we had in the past. those 18th century types of houses and churches that shoot you back to the spanish era. really wonderful feeling. it has a vibe tha is very realaxing not only to your body but also your soul. if there's one province i really would love to visit again and again it has to be bohol.

I lived in Bohol last year for 4 months and it was heaven. You absolutely must rent a boat for a tour, it’s the best snorkelling you can do in the ph, in one boat tour you will see 30-50 dolphins, 20-30 giant turtles….. can’t recommend it enough

You too must go and visit to Ilocos Norte it’s one of the most popular tourist destination and there are many historical places to visit. And beaches and many more. It’s my home province, it’s a beautiful place to live! It has beautiful beaches, bigger shops, not crowded like Cebu but I also love Cebu we moved there when I was 12 years old. Give Bohol a try, you can get almost everything you need and Cebu is only 2 hours away when you get on a ferry boat. I was born in Getafe, Bohol.

Try explore Palawan it has also the best tropical island in the Philippines. Don't have many cyclone history and rare history earthquake coz it was situated away from active volcanos. Lifestyle is very layed back I think one of the best places to live.

Story's drawing are quite impressive, I sure hope she keeps it up and who knows where she will go if she keeps on doing it. Panglao is quite nice, you have presented the town very well. Several years ago, I was suggesting my wife for us to move there when our careers are over... well, it will still quite far from there... I always love Bohol and it was love at first sight. We stayed in the area for several days, and boy oh boy, that town stole my heart. But there's so many other places in the Philippines that are quite unique in their own ways that can easily sway you to stay and stay for good. How I love this country we call Philippines.

Time to move from Siargao to Bohol. Good thing about Bohol is its proximity to Cebu, Siquijor and Negros Oriental. Bad thing is, the earthquake....sometimes, long power outage😄

Bohol is an older historic island. The Boholanos were valiant warriors in the struggle against the Spanish colonization.

One of the most beautiful place in the Philippines. Try checking out as well Hinagdanan Cave, Napaling Cliff Dive and Bohol Bee Farm in Panglao Island. You can also do island hopping in Balicasag and Virgin Island.

Great recommendations. I tried the charcoal ice cream at Bohol Bee Farm. Also ziplined and visited the Philippine Tarsier Sanctuary.

Wow! Story’s artwork is awesome. I think Panglao, Bohol is a good option for your family to move to if you guys get tired of Siargao or want a change of scenery. It’s probably a bit bigger than Siargao so it had more amenities but still have that rural and island vibes. 👍🏼❤️

Bohol looks great, modern conveniences and provincial at the same time. I am not vegan but I am very impressed with that menu. Sacha’s brunch looks so yummy. I was floored by Story’s drawing ability. Please save those sketches! I hope you encourage that and perhaps someday she can write and illustrate a book about places she visited, animals she saw and her daily experience. She’s had a different upbringing and different experience than most children.

I moved to Panglao a year ago after 21 years in Manila and I do not regret my decision. Bohol is a different island within the Philippines and life is awesome here.

8miles fam. Bohol is port to port is not very far distances between dipolog city cebu city siquihor dumaguety city which is siliman university is have most of it a lot of foreigner in dumaguety city living

Moving your family to Bohol would really be a good option for change of scenery and to benefit your subscribers to explore a new place. There is only so much you can do in Siargao and probably done almost everything. 👍🏼❤️

I was there with my partner 20 years ago. Bohol is like Cebu's Provincial brother. Quaint and naturally beautiful. The biggest city Tagbilaran still had that big provincial town/city vibe. Nice island.

Hello, Im from Bohol. Panglao is just a sub island from Bohol itself. And we still have small islands are not yet being advertised like Pamilacan island which is beautiful, Balicasag island. Talking of beaches, Anda is one spot you should also check out. We have lots of rivers, falls and caves. Have fun exploring.

I actually live in the next town Dauis here in Panglao Island. I am so glad to see you guys loving this UNIQUELY BEAUTIFUL ISLAND. Yes this is the place to move to id you guys likes to change scenery. Here you can get almost everything that you need, malls, restaurants, hospitals. You may try to visit the. MOADTO STRIP MALL which is located in Barangay Doljo, Panglao- it is a mall along the shoreline on the other side of Bohol Beach Club where you guys are staying.

There's more to see in Bohol. I'm sure you're going to enjoy The Bohol Bee Farm with their organic foods and their location is beautiful! I believe there's also a Butterfly Dome? Story's swimsuit is so cute. Great that you're staying longer to explore more! Enjoy Bohol! 🐕‍🦺🦋

That school was where I graduated and the school beside the church was my secondary school, too. The traffic light was placed there because of some reason. A lot of tourists visited Panglao before the pandemic. So yeah, safety first. WOw! Poppy was also having fun and was with you guys, lucky you Poppy 😅

If you gyys still have enough time here in Bohol I recomend the morning hills in Loay Bohol justa an hour travel from Panglao its a coastal municipality.

Was there last month! Stayed in Alona and Dumaluan area. Went to Balicasag Island, Chocolate Hills, Philippine Tarsier Sanctuary. Went ziplining and ATV at Chocolate Hills area.

They also suffered from earthquake there a few years back which destroyed some heritage building and Churches I believe. But it's a beautiful island.

Panglao looks very quiet and charming town. I love Story's sage color dress, it's always perfect for her skin tone and personality. She wore that when Sascha and story was checking the secret forest and I mentioned that vlog that story is like the fairy of that secret forest. Surigao have many boholano migrant that have assimilated in surigao. Thats it been said that the republic of bohol is not bohol alone but southern Leyte and surigao or north eastern mindanao.

bohol is so picturesque , especially the small towns, make sure you check out candijay rice terraces and beside it can- umantad falls, both very stunning and quite undiscovered by most tourists!!!
