Aidan is right, most people would def narrow the Goat debate down to Michael Jordan and Lebron James, but that matchup is very disputed and pretty close for many.

It all depends on which era you grew up in me personally was born in 98 so my entire childhood evolved around kobe. Kids born around 2002 and after will say lebron, same situation with the generation before me who watched Mike play.

One of the most savage moments for me is when Barkley and Rodman were battling for a rebound (a total of 5 touches) before Rodman got it and went for a layup before getting blocked, then Barkley got it and took it down the court only to have his dunk blocked by Rodman.

On the topic of Ice Hockey you guys should check out some highlights of the #1 pick and hockey phenom Connor Bedard. He's kind of like a Messi type. If you were building the perfect player in a Laboratory you wouldn't come out with him. He 's considered a bit undersized, but he's got a crazy shot, crazy vision in the way he finds open teammates and the way he reads the game feels like he's always 3 steps ahead of his opponents. His game is divine, it's quite a good watch.

I thought I was already subscribed but turns out I wasn't. I started off watching office blokes react but Daz is easily my favorite and Dave annoys me so this channel is my new go to lol. You two seem to actually know a lot about sports and considering Daz lived in America for awhile it makes sense why he knows so much about our leagues. And Aidan is a good sidekick. Definitely agree with Aidan that basketball has on average the most athletic players. For anybody about to rage I'm NOT saying your sport isn't full of ridiculous athletes. But the combination of their ridiculous height speed and jumping ability plus the coordination needed to play basketball puts it over the top for me. It's one of the only sports where there aren't at least a few players who are kind of fat and out of shape. If they are they get exposed quick. Baseball you can basically be a trucker and play if you have good hand eye coordination or can pitch. Soccer takes ridiculous endurance and coordination also but not much else. Football is close but you get kickers and qbs and some lineman who aren't super athletes. Hockey I don't know much about but seems to be pretty close as well. Other sports are so specialized that I don't think they compete. Basketball basically takes everything athletic about the other sports and rolls it all into one. You gotta be able to jump run have some level of strength and be insanely coordinated . Idk.

You should look at the highlights of Dr. J-- 6'6" and the greatest dunker every--huge hands, great athleticism. Has done things that still no one has duplicated.

Gotta agree with Aiden hockey is a different breed. More technical skill as far as skating and stickskills. You can be athletic and suck at Hockey where in hoops athleticism and cover for a lot of shortcomings at least until you get to NBA. Both require alot of endurance.

The athleticism needed for hockey vs basketball isn't even close. they're only on the ice for a minute at a time and the momentum does most of the work. And like Aiden said, you're not jumping or changing directions nearly the same. You never did it on the OG channel, but you guys should react to Vince Carter drunks.

This is a warm-up to watching a video of Larry "Legend" Bird. From my watching of Basketball, I would put Michael Jordan and Larry Bird above LeBron James at any age or time of his career. As Pat Riley once said, if he had to choose a player to shoot the final shot to win a game, it would be Michael Jordan. If he had to pick a player to make a shot to save his life, it would be Larry Bird. I don't hear anyone say they want the ball in LeBron's hands in the final seconds to win a game.

There isn't a universe in which Kobe is better than Jordan--not close. No disrespect to Kobe--he won many of his rings with Shaq, another dominant player--Jordan had nothing comparable. And Tom Brady is not considered the best player ever in the NFL--hell, he isn't even the best QB ever--that would be Joe Montana. Jim Brown is the greatest NFL player ever, period, end of discussion. QBs don't really play the full game--they don't block, tackle, and with some exceptions, they don't run that much. They are a unicorn in the game whose importance has only fairly recently been increased because the NFL wanted to make it easier to pass with rules changes over the last couple of decades.

Kobe played in the tough western conference during one of the toughest era's of basketball with strong offenses and defenses. James played most of his career in the weak Eastern conference in an era with weak defense.

Jordan is the GOAT but there is an argument for Kobe taking those reigns. Lebron, cries and flops too much to be a GOAT - He's also had to change teams several times to try and get a team around him before he could even attempt a championship. He has never been clutch and you'll often find him bitchin up at the end of the game and not take the last shop. GOATS never do that. His stats don't even come close to measuring up to either Jordan or Kobe. It really isn't even a matter of opinion.
