@@jonadabtheunsightly Man, that must have been rough, lol. Hope it didn't get too soggy. The Mexican pizza is the only thing I eat at Taco Bell. But they keep discontinuing it and bringing it back years later. So annoying, so I just took their concept, basically a tostada but using a flour tortilla instead of a corn tortilla, omitting the lettuce, adding super fine ground seasoned beef and beans on one layer, adding a second tortilla and topping with a good spicy salsa and lots of shredded white Mexican cheese and a tiny bit of cheddar, its better than any Mexican Pizza from Taco Bell. No reason to go to Taco Bell ever. And, the great thing about it is where I live you can buy massive flour tortillas. So I can make small individual pizzas. medium size or really big "individual" ones, unless of course I want to share, lol. Delish!

@@screechingonions2365 It's unhealthy because the companies are putting who knows what into the food, using cheap ingredients, GMO, and worst of all using toxic seed oils. Almost all processed food in the grocery store has the seed oils in them as well. That being said, having great tasting food doesn't have to be synonymous with being unhealthy. It's just that they cook French fries in seed oils instead of lard or animal fats, and the ketchup you put on them will have sugar in it. The bread in the burger will be low quality wheat made with seed oils, the mayo is usually made with the soybean seed oil, the meat in the burger is factory farmed and not pasture raised. The list goes on and on.

😅😅😅 Millie's reaction to the Iced Tea is freaking hilarious. And I'll tell you why... If you've seen the video of American High Schoolers trying British Tea and Biscuits (I think it's on the Jolly channel) one of the common statements about the Tea was that it was closer to just hot water than anything else. And that tells me that either British Tea is brewed very thin... or they actually don't know what proper Tea is. I hope it's just the former given the whole tradition of British Tea, but that's also to say that I think Brits really haven't had wide exposure to proper Tea before. Millie...that brownish color is the way Tea is supposed to be, and usually the darker the better. I think the reas9n you don't like Tea that much us because you're used to the hot water that y'all think is Tea. Tea generally comes unsweetened, of which you can add sugar or artificial sweetener to your likings, but there's nothing better on a hot summer day than a nice big tall glass of Iced Tea. I recently bought a case of Arizona Raspberry-flavored Ice Tea. 24 20-oz cans of Raspberry Tea. They weren't bad straight out of the can, but poured into a glass of ice made them even better. I just drank the last can the other night.

British tea is not just hot water. English breakfast tea is strong and black (though Irish and Scottish breakfast teas are stronger). It has a lot more tea flavor than any iced teas I've tried, which is quite a few. To me iced tea tastes like tea flavored sugar water. The British traditionally take milk and sugar with the tea as well, which in my opinion is the only way to drink it. I don't like iced tea, or hot tea without milk. Funny, the British girl prefers American iced tea, and the American gut prefers a traditional British cup. 🙂

@@jackgilchristyou can also get the unsweetened version of iced tea here in the states. The sugary versions tend to be preferred more in the south - probably because it is so hot here, but even here in the south there are those of us who prefer the unsweetened versions. It tastes a lot more like proper tea without all of the sugar, but it is still nicer than a hot tea when the temperatures outside can consistently be well over 100 degrees F (about 38 degrees C) for weeks at a time. If we were in a colder climate, perhaps I would prefer a warmer tea. LOL on this girl thinking she needs to explain tea to the British, though. Someone may have missed their history lessons if they don't know where the US originally even got their tea from. Too bad the Brits tried to overtax us on it, though, as it didn't help our relationship at the time. I still prefer a good tea over a coffee.

It’s so great to have you do a solo video, Millie! I feel like we don’t get to see your personality much in the regular videos, and I love getting to know you in this way. I’d love to see you do some more videos, maybe about getting ready for baby, all about Millie (we’d like to learn more about you, some of your favorite things (foods, shops, adventures, hobbies, etc), maybe your top ten bucket list items, etc. Nothing too personal, as we respect your privacy. We learned a lot about James before you joined him in videos, so it’s so nice to spend this time with just you. You did a fantastic job and we can’t wait to see more of you. 😊

Iced tea done right is normal (or preferably double or triple strength) hot tea that is poured over ice. The ice melts, diluting it and chilling it. The result tends to be less bitter than hot tea. If you overdo it you wind up with dirty leaf water that doesn't taste like anything.

I giggled when I heard "proper tacos" and "Taco Bell" in the same sentence. 😆🌮🔔 There are so many KZfaqrs who can show you how to make proper tacos. A few that I follow are "Rachel Cooks with Love", "Simply Mama Cooks" and "Cooking Con Claudia". But I do get the desire to "make a run for the border". It had been years since I had Taco Hell so I asked my husband to pick me up a couple of things to try earlier this week. It'll be a few more years before the desire to eat there again strikes me. I live in a community that is majority Hispanic so I can get some right proper tacos and no drive-thru is required!

Our family mixes the black beans and rice then pours the orange cheese over. Interesting depending on what part of the country you're in some cheese is white and others add orange coloring. Also some states drink very sweet tea they even call it sweet tea and others prefer tea with lemon and not much sugar.

I loved this! I'm from South Carolina, all we know is ice tea. We boil a pot of water and put four or five tea bags in and let it steep (sit for awhile) then pour in a container jug about the size of a two liter, add a cup and a half of sugar and stir until it dissolves and then fill with water, serve over ice. Also, the chalupa doesn't have mayo on it, that is sour cream. Please don't try Mayo on a taco. Lol. Great job.

Most iced tea here has some sort of hot brewing happen first, then it’s chilled and sweetened to have over ice. We make “Sun Tea” all the time in the summer here in Midwest. About a Gallon and a half glass container (ours has a spigot near the bottom). Lid comes off, we lay 4 jumbo tea bags that float on top. Put it out on our back deck in direct hot sun and it brews nice and dark in 5-6 hours. Goes in the fridge and is great on a hot summer day! 😉😁👍

As for iced tea, we typically use a 2 quart sauce pan on the stove with approximately 12ish regular sized tea bags...biol the tea on the stove, add to a 4 quart pitcher/3.8l or 1 gallon, poured over 1 to 2 cups of sugar, fill the pitcher the rest of the way with cold water while stirring...We don't use kettles because we make our tea in abundance. refrigerate, add ice and enjoy. Basically a few steps past hot tea...lol. Everyone has a different preference on strength and sweetness, so if you try this, feel free to alter to your preference.

There's a boundary somewhere in Virginia they call the sweet tea line. If you live south of the line and order iced tea it will be sweet unless you specify that you want unsweetened. If you live north of the line, you have to ask for sweet tea to get sweet tea. Most places in Virginia just ask if you want sweet or unsweet though.
