Telur dadar.., not telur dada (chest egg). Dadar (Malay) is a simply omelette (beaten egg).., the only different, Malay omelette filled with many choices of filling (up to you).

Common mistake. Growing up in a western country I always thought it was telur dada. I always get laughed at by cousins and corrected by aunts and uncle when I come back to Malaysia.

hehe..oh no.. No, it’s not telur dada, it’s telur dadar. Dadar means to scramble or to spread, and it refers to a type of omelet that is flat like a crepe. Dada means chest, but Dadar is a different word and a delicious dish. I also cried when I heard Mariam tell her wedding story......huhu maybe I'm ahjumma already eh makcik already huhuhu

Post Natal / Partum Mother care = Pantang Beranak / Bersalin. Sometimes it is really the mother or mother in law who help care the post natal mother & baby. Otherwise it us the husband, sibling, or others who, together with the baby mother, take post natal care of the mother and baby. Pantang per se literally means the Do's & the Don'ts i.e the Forbiddence practises of the post natal mother care.

@@Blimeywow Sharing is caring. As you already know, the pantang practise is strict indeed & dedicatedly focussed on the baby momma. But baby mama n daddy are also human. Baby mama more often than not, curi-curi mkn n minum or langgar breaches a few pantang themselves. Just dont let the baby grandma or sibling know. 😅😅😅. Baby daddy's life is happier n much easier when baby momma is happy n gets what she wants. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 However nowaday, even us locals depart n forgo some of the practises. Dont tell abt this pantang to your OBGyn doctors (locals or otherwise). Because they reject the pantang practice. They say, "Dont worry. Come what may, just eat what you want. Your body need good nutrients n vitamins n whatnot from foods. Drink like normally you do. If sakit, we got ubat what. No hal". 🤣🤣🤣🤣

the olden day pantang is not very good for the mother's health as they forbids a lot of food that contains nutrients needed for mom & baby, and some of the practice are just torturing moms. they don't encourage fruits and vegetables intake as they deemed these as "cold foods." like Maryam said, she only makan ikan & not allowed to take chicken. that doesn't make sense if you know what kind of nutrient chicken can provide for the body. take chicken breast la if you want to cut on fat & calories, not forbid the whole thing. apa salah ayam? but I think the modern pantang is less strict about that. the best pantang is to take in as many nutrients and water, and pantang on things that will harm your body in the long run. and you shouldn't just pantang makan all the stuff bad for your health post partum, but do it your whole life.

actually, boleh je klau keluarga non muslim nk dtg ke masjid n tgk pernikahan ahli keluarga dorg..x de larangan pun utk yg non muslim dtg melawat masjid asalkn dtg dgn niat yg baik( melawat/bertanya soalan/pernikahan etc), berpakaian sopan serta mnghormati masjid n jemaah kt situ... kene betulkn sikit apa yg maryam ckp..x nk org non muslim salah anggap mngenai islam...

Pantang is the confinement period after giving birth. Commonly 40days to 3 months period of time.. cause some situation where the wife/new mother gets to experienced the postpartum depression. If this happens, the healing process will takes a lot longer... Please take a good care of your wife and mother whom just giving birth ya 👌🏼👍🏼🤝🏼 teamwork. It takes a whole village to raise a child..
