She has her own songs (that she co wrote even) but they are almost all in Dutch. Except for Empathy, her reply to horrible racism she was getting in 2019. She has been fighting racism and injustice for a long time and some of the people don't like that at all and she has had to endure horrible racism and hate, even threats and death threats for years. Over a year ago her 15 yo son came home, face covered in blood and said he got beaten up by (adult) supermarket staff. She didn't know at that time he was lying to her. He was lighting an e cigarette and kept going back in, he got a push and fell and got hurt. She made the mistake of going there with her son, his friend and her (now ex) boyfriend. The friend of her son said he got hit too so she told him to call his father too. The father was there with 2 others. Things got out of hand and it turned into a fight. Glennis' role was small, but she had decided to go there and she said she felt responsible. Her part was a push or slap with an open hand and a knee going up but she was too far away. The victims said in February she caused no damage or harm, but tried to change their declarations in april and october. The judges didn't go along with that. She got acquitted for assault and threat the victims accused her of and their money claims got denied. She got convicted for the group fight, because in order to be acquitted for that she would have had to leave. She was shown on security footage calming things down, but it was not enough to be totally acquitted. However, the gossip press and haters have used it for over a year to damage her. They have wanted that for years and saw her laying on the ground and decided to keep kicking. They have been spreading lies for over a year and are leaving out information. For example they don't mention her son came home injured, they are not mentioning the acquittals and they are saying she beat up children, which are just plain lies. They have harrassed and threathened venues that had booked her so they ended up cancelling. They went to the concerts that she gave to try to get the audience not to go, but failed. People go for her amazing voice and she has a really nice contact with fans, so we have seen her through our own eyes, not the gossip media's eyes. Since someone mentioned the incident, I decided to go a bit more in depth. My sources are the verdict and 3 different journalists doing live reports from the trial.

Whitney's "I'm Your Baby Tonight" was air played in 1989. It was a different sound for her style of singing. Glennis doesn't change-up her voice to sing Whitney Tributes. That's just how it comes out naturally, beautifully & effortlessly.

Glennis Grace has a great voice that's true. She has already a long career but she has a lack of own songs and only 5 top40 songs. As an 16 year old girl she won the Soundmix show a talentshow in 1994 with the song "one monent in time. After that she made her solo album. The times after that we're quiet. Until 2003 she brought out her second album. In 2005 she participated in the Eurovision Songcontest, a big show which nowadays participate more than 40 countries and has more than 150 million tv viewers. Unfornately she missed the TV final with her song "My impossible dream". Again no breakthrough. She tried after that with some songs and videoclips but DJ's where not interested and her record label broke with her. 2008/2009 she tried songs in Dutch language with only modest succes. In 2011 she participated in the TV progam "Beste Zangers" and that was her breakthrough for the big audience. That TV program was also a breakthrough for Floor Jansen in 2019 for her succes in Netherlands. But back to Glennis. She scored in 2011 her first number 1 hit with the song "Afscheid". After that her career came in a running position. In 2018 she participated in "America's got talent" where she reached the final. In 2022 Glennis Grace got 200 hours community service for violence in A'dam supermarket. That fact brought a big damage in her career. She also played together with other famous Dutch ladysingers in big shows named "the ladies of soul", shows for 17000 peoples which always we're sold out.
