Filmed throughout the mid-1980s and early 1990s, many of the original liveries are seen on a number of heavy freight workings including coal, oil, scrap, steel, fly-ash, stone and speedlink. The programme contains numerous sequences of the unmistakable 'scream' of their Ruston Paxman 16K3CT, 3250 horsepower engine on full power. All video material has been digitally re-mastered for the best possible enjoyment.

In total every locomotive is seen in this programme in all of their original stamping grounds and it makes a valuable collectors item for anyone interested in these popular locomotives.
