@MattPicton96 Because Corrie won the NTAs last week as it beat EastEnders for the first time since 2004 i think. Well it may be stiff competiton ahead in this year's British Soap Awards, if EE would ever likely.

@matthewmartinx if u go on the official british soap awards website u would clearly see that that is how it works public only vote for best soap best actor/actress sexiest male/female and best villian all the rest r voted for by a panel of people so next time do ur research

@LANBritain1 Corrie only won the awards that was not voted for by the public! out of the 6 awards the public voted for u only won sexiest female , Whereas Ee won best soap, best actress and sexiest male The panel felt sorry for u after EE scooped all the awards at the national television awards once again voted for by the public and Corrie left empty handed- what does that say the public prefer Eastenders, Corries only good moment was the tram crash and Eastenders live was still most watched
