Michael Caine was filming a movie where he needed a southern accent, and he had the good fortune to meet Vivien Leigh. He asked her how she perfected her accent for "Gone With the Wind", and she said she went around saying "fowah dowah fowad" (four-door Ford) until she was blue in the face. :-D
