Not to mention that was an insane amount of salt to season with. I suspect it was an accident and too much came out, but that's why we season with our fingers: so we have total control.

Yorkie wraps are delicious mate, it’s just a full Sunday dinner wrapped up and on the go. Choose ya meat,(typically roast chicken, beef, lamb or pork), then your roast vegetables; potatoes, carrots, parsnips, cabbage, other seasonal veg like shredded brussel sprouts go nice too. Choose your sauces/stuffings for example but not limited to (sage and onion stuffing, bread sauce, chestnut stuffing, mint sauce, apple sauce, cranberry sauce.) And of course, a good THICK gravy to soak it all. It’s an explosion of flavour, and all depends on the filling and seasonings too, typically herbs such as rosemary, thyme and bay with a good crack of black pepper and some sea salt. The Yorkshire pudding and itself isn’t much of a flavour base in comparison but more of a vessel, coming out of the oven they’ll be crisp but not burnt around the edge while the bottom will be a bit softer but still firm enough to hold its own. Once wrapped around all that food though it will become more akin to a very thick pancake without being so dense and has more resistance to hold together. You might even get some cheeky sides like pork crackling or some crisp chicken skin. Anyone help me out if I’ve forgotten anything? 😅 Get it down ya lad!

Most of it was, - I should think the nearest that "Yorkshire Pudding" had ever been to 'Yorkshire' was a Factory in N. London and you buy them frozen in bulk boxes of up to 100, also that is NOT the 'traditional' way to eat one. If you want to eat one the "correct" way, - they are oven baked and simply filled with a thick onion or plain gravy, - certainly NOT semi fried on a 'Hot Plate' as he was, and as for all his 'added' food' all I can think, he was just on the usual "tourist scam" of pretending it was not what it was supposed to be. Nowadays true 'Yorkshire Puddings' are 'oven cooked' in the oven quite often with the Beef and Roast Potatoes in a separate tray just before everything is "done" and added to the main meal of Roast Beef, with usually Boiled and Roast Potatoes, together with a choice of Vegetables all served Piping Hot. The Y-pudds are usually about 1" to 2" high, smaller, and do not look very similar to 'wraps' which his did, and ended up looking like.

@@christopherlovelock9104 lol, take it as it is, ppl are not* being mistaken for your thing, tho it's nice and i would eat it maybe but not popular as this i think. :)
@christopherlovelock91043 жыл бұрын
@@louly3212 When I showed it to my friends, (Sound turned off), - first of all they all said, - "what's that".? - When I told them, (especially the cooking method) every one of them burst out laughing as they all thought it was either an Indian or Asian 'street food'. All said there are far better "traditional" English foods to eat than that.
@louly32123 жыл бұрын
@@christopherlovelock9104 they should show and rate them for the world on youtube.
@christopherlovelock91043 жыл бұрын
@@louly3212 I quite agree, - but who would do the rating is the problem. People the World over have different 'tastes' and what one person thinks of as their absolute favourite another wouldn't eat even if they were nearly starving. The only way you could even come close to that would be someone from the 'area' in which the particular item originates from. Then you have the problem of sea-food, certain fish etc, can only be found off of a small length of coast, - (they would be easy), - others 'roam' World-Wide, even migrate thousands of miles to spawn and then return to where they normally are found.
