worse than i agree with you because i also just loved jamie's character for me the best, he stef and aron i loved the three a lot! I was very sad about his death, I hope next season it's either a dream of jamie or stef gets revenge on sully!

SPOILER: Jaime’s character had a lot more to give. But this show is a reflection of real life and sometimes our favorite people get taken out. This shows how good the series is because I felt like I really lost my homie 🤦🏿♂️

Glad someone said it. His death means so much more if had just stayed alive. The streets eats everyone in the end. And I believe Sully Jaq and Dushane will lose in the end as well.

When Sully shot Jamie the air left the room. Moved me to tears. I like that the writers made Sully very consistent. He does not forgive betrays if any kind. I immediately started thinking about the fate of Jaq and Lauryn. Is he going to take them out next. Dushane is not outside of his radar either, because he was aware of Lauryn’s actions and didn’t update Sully. The script and execution is so real. Jamie I absolutely love u you out in this role. Congrats on the award. Well deserved!

Yes !! Sully doesn’t forgive a soul and the fact the writers made sully have mental illness and dushane have something ailing him . They’re both sick want to see what will happen to both of them next season

@Liam Davidson I mean a lot of people are outraged maybe what they can do next season if Michael wants to keep playing jamie is making the encounter of him and sully being a dream because in a way jamie fears what could happen while being a summerhouse gangster. Either way I see the last season being the finale because Dushane has health problems and sully is for sure gonna die either to them peckham man, Dushane, or Stef.

I would probably view someone like Jamie in real life as a scumbag if I didn't know he was doing everything for his brothers. Seeing how he went from being Dushane's nemesis in season 1 to his sideman in season 2 was interesting. Jamie is a fascinating character and was played really well so was hoping he would stay on to become Dushane's right hand man. I see the reasons behind Sully's actions but it just felt a bit premature.

Nah I don't think they did... I really believe the suddenness of his death is what adds depth to the show. It avoids plot armor. Now I definitely believe we need another realistic and sudden death next season as well. My vote is Sully or Jaq

@@royaltyblessed2454 I agree. I didn’t expect it. But a good show is not one that you can easily predict. We all thought Jamie would just be the next top boy eventually after displacing dushane. The death was realistic somewhat and completely shakes what you thought you knew. I’m ok with that. Big risk big rewards

@@wariocheats9701 Fr, like everyone could see right through that Jamie would've gunned for Dushane at some point or another, especially Sully, and rather than waiting for Jamie to become a problem and then Sully telling Dushane "we should've dealt with him like I always said" he looked out for the family and took care of an obvious problem before it became too hot to handle. Like he really took care of business... cut him off before he could even think of becoming top boy again🤣🤣🤣

Jamie’s character was so rich. You could see how much Michael put into the character hence and how much his fellow actors vibed off him. Jamie was a true fan favourite ♥️

Spoiler . Jamie's death scene being so sudden was perfect . It's exactly how it usually goes in gang life. Nobody is safe and everybody is paranoid. Plus the end sequence was great. The young boy escaping hardship to a new life of hope by using Jamie's watch which represents his time on earth ending and then his death which shows how his younger brother has just lost any hope of escaping the gangs now that his brother is gone to keep him safe.

Hope to see Michael in a lot more projects in the future, Jamie quickly became my favourite character and he went through so much development over both seasons with family being his only motivation by the end of it.

Jamie is the best overall actor in the show. --his presence as the leading man was undeniable:---I am not sure then why they decided that the person carrying the show is the one to killed off----maybe they have to write him out because he has other projects that prevents him from continuing with the show; or even a personal situation that prevents him from continuing in the future show.

Literally killed the character that made top boy popular again. Hopefully we get an alternative ending because there’s no way they only done 8 episodes. Possibly 2 other endings. Jamie not killing his best friend escaping with his brother. Another ending Dushane failing to convince his closest friend not to testify. Dushane and sully get locked up. Jamie vs jaq over summerhouse

I understand the "technical" reasons the writers went the direction they did, but it was a mistake. The best and almost the only real character arc in this series is now gone and I get that they predictably will try to recreate new character developments within the remaining cast but it won't be a bond anywhere near what they threw away. I honestly want to know if the Actor wanted out due to other demands in his life? When MJ stopped playing, I lost interest in the Bulls and these guys still have Pippen and a few role players but bad call coach. Ps. Curtis was played perfectly by whoever that actor is. Big Shout out to him coz he really is a Star, infact whoever put this team together is extremely good at his/her job.

Yo Curtis was a really big stand out this season. Every scene he was in..I felt he was gonna *snap* at any second, but he still kept calm and I was like 😳. I really wanted the writers to keep him in the show beyond season 2 he was sooo good! 👌💯

Someone at work told me about this show and I finally got round to it last week, binge watched right from Top Boy Summerhouse and without a doubt, Jamie was my favourite character! Despite him being the ruthless ZTs leader, the soft side he shows towards his brothers and the duality of Jamie amazingly executed by Michael Ward, had me drawn in as soon as he got introduced in the Top Boy season 1. Don’t think I’ve ever rooted for a TV baddie as much as I rooted for him! I felt outrage when he got shot. Brilliantly written show and Jamie’s character simply writer’s masterpiece 👌🏻

When they played the music and had the montage running at the end of the season, I was like well that’s it what a great season. I was on my phone like the last minute of the episode when it happened. I immediately had to rewind. This is one of the craziest seasons of tv I’ve ever seen, it’s like the wire except for with quicker and heavier big moments. One of the best shows I’ve ever seen can’t wait for next season

I met michael in a shopping centre in Canary Wharf with his girl he was the nicest most genuine guy we spoke for like 10 minutes and he took multiple pictures with us and was really chill. bless him for his future

Dude the way sully went about getting rid of Jamie was so disrespectful. Compared to how he killed Dris last season by taking him away from his daughter. Sully just popped him in the head in front of Stefan 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

It’s cos Sully still kind of had love for Dris. Remember they knew each other for years so it would’ve been a lot harder. He had no loyalties to Jamie cos in Season 3 they were beefing and Jaime was even killed one of his guys

Its Sully and Dushanes show. 11 years now. I am gutted about the end of the season but people really need to ask themselves what Jamie's place would have been now that he has gone at the king TWICE and missed, both times ending up just dancing to Dushanes tune anyway. The heart of the show has always been the love / hate relationship between the 2 leads and if you have an issue with how you feel put it on Michaels amazing acting, not Ronan's writing.

I find myself always rooting for the new and younger guys, I watched the original two seasons before the Netflix version and I still like Jamie’s character way more than Dushane and sully, that ending definitely had me feeling a way
