Gotta say a big thank you to my translators for this video - Hero_Swe, Gnaw and Dahlqvist. This was an interesting one to edit, I'll say that much.
What unit/clan is this?
This is my unit, the Cadian XXth. Casual milsim, roleplay and all those weird ops that you never get to play in your normal milsim group. It can be found in the discord: / discord
What is this mod?
Mostly IFA, FOW and CSA, with the map & resistance kit coming from Northern Fronts.
Are you SovietWomble?
I wish. Video definitely has inspiration from the likes of Soviet and Max0r, but I try to strike a nice line for telling a story, humorous edits and actual gameplay. I try to put out a video every three days, hence why not every single video will be a Fustercluck or not as long or detailed as I'd like. Time constraints are a problem.

The Swedish thing was literally referenced in the video - it's a joke. Also also, this is not Operation Gunnerside, but rather Operation Grouse + Freshman. They came before Gunnerside, and in reality Freshman was an utter disaster.

think its because you can´t enter the factory and by that it dont have a destroyed state. heck arma had a problem whit C4 damage not stacking meaning 1 or 100 C4 on a building would not kill it. aka 1 wasn´t enouth 100 would make no different.

@@srgforge2993 In this op, Rimmy and the boys are playing out an alternate history scenario where operation Freshman wasn't a dissaster and the operatives managed to evade the Germans and finish their mission. So it's understandable why you thought it was Gunnerside. I did the same until Rimmy explained it in the stream as a response to someone asking in the chat which op it was.

Interesting choice for a mission theme. It’s not well known, but the nazies were trying to develop an atomic weapon and their main technological lead on developing such weapon was using what we call “Heavy Water” or D2O (instead of H2O the 2xhydrogen is replaced by 2xdeuterium) also called deuterium monoxide. While having the general same properties as common water it also emits radioactive energy, this was the first point of interest for the nazies and the second was that it was manufactured in great quantities in Vemork hydroelectric power plant in Norway. Though the project carefully followed, it was stuck in a dead end (mostly because to make a bomb you would need to compress large quantities of the heavy water, we’re talking in tonnes here), the plant was sabotaged regularly and eventually the project was dropped as many more steps of research were needed to achieve a heavy water based bomb and the funds were redirected to more concrete weapon developments.

2 min in and im having funny flashbacks to an anime... the anime has a part where a class gets stranded on an island or some shit. one of them looks at a MAP, and says 'idk what it says, i cant read english' so. when the anime was dubbed... they just kept that part in about not knowing english. good job!

Oh, this was at the tail end of Equestria - 1940. Which had uncomfy implications, they were going to rescue Equestrian scientists and destroy the plant. The Equestrians kinda offhandedly mention that they built a device that sped up the procurement/enrichment of materials...

Oh I didnt read the title (until now) but I read about the raid on the german held plant that people thought they wouldve made nukes, I saw the snow and plane crashed. I feel smart for once :D
