What you have to understand is many of the place names in this video are in different parts of the UK. Eg, England, Wales and Scotland feature. Therefore the accent and pronunciation is different. We also have some very complicated rules in the English-English language such as silent letters or letters that when added to other letters make a totally different sound than they usually do.

I've been here since 5th grade (24yrs old now). I was nowhere near expecting P-ville to be on this list!! If they were gonna do Texas I expected Gruene, or Waxahachie, Balmorhea, Nacogdoches, Pedernales, Refugio, or even Buda, Manor or Palestine. I did not think that Li'l ol' Pflugerville would ever get noticed by Buzzfeed. Pflugerville is a (growing) little German town named after the Pfluger family that founded the town. We're a suburb of Austin, and roughly halfway between Austin and Round Rock. Our town motto is that we're, "stuck between a Rock and a Weird place," because of, "Keep Austin Weird."

I swear Zzyzx is pronounced "zizz-icks" and rhymes with physics.
