I don't grieve the loss of movie stars, I've never really felt an attachment to them. But Murphy was different. She seemed more human to me than most others allow.

It's funny you should say that, because that's MY sentiments exactly. I saw her on several talk shows, and she seemed so sweet and genuine and had a great sense of humor, not to mention she was very pretty. I became a fan not because of her acting, but because of her personality on those shows. Then I saw some of her movies, and she's also a good actress. Then I saw the video of her singing "Somebody To Love" for the movie Happy Feet. I didn't know she could sing so well. RIP sweetheart.

Brittany was lovely. Such a sad sad loss. I still feel the world is a little bit darker without her in it. All these years later. She was actually very smart and quick witted. if you really listen to her come backs to things that Craig said. And she was like that in all of the interviews that I've seen he in. Her acting was natural. She could go from one extreme to the other. Don't say a Word to Uptown Girls. I think she would have won an Oscar someday. And I wish she'd have fronted a Band. As she had a great voice. And one more thing. She couldn't do drugs because of a heart condition. I'm with her Dad, I think she was the victim of foul play. I hope she gets justice someday. She shouldn't have died. RIP Brittany. Thousands remember and miss you. X

Update...in other interviews from around the time she wasn't talking like that, so it wasn't permanent. I came across an article (www.contactmusic.com/brittany-murphy/news/brittany-murphy.s-fake-british-accent) which, if accurate, might explain it as her "adapting" to her environment (i.e., Craig), albeit quite loosely. Mystery solved?

My family used to live in South Africa and my mom would do this weird thing where she'd talk to South Africans in a South African accent and Americans in an American accent. Maybe this girl's switching to an English accent for Craig because he's British. She seemed to be using an American accent when talking to that swing guy.

@@yoshimitsu380 My mom wasn't doing it to deceive either. She grew up in a missionary family and went back and forth between America and South Africa a lot, so I guess she got into the habit at a young age of speaking like an American when in America and a South African when in South Africa. The weird thing was that she would talk to my siblings and me in an American accent even though we had South African accents at the time, but she would switch to South African when talking to our South African father. It felt normal then, but it strikes me as rather strange now. My point was that maybe coming from a multicultural (e.g. multi-accented) family made this girl similarly versatile in accent so that it felt more natural to her to speak British to British people and American to American people.

Why is KZfaq putting ads in the middle of their videos still?? Is this a decision the uploader makes? If so, I think he just lost a viewer, which sucks because I quite liked these archives.
@TheJayLenoFly
@TheJayLenoFly 7 жыл бұрын
Listen bro, listen BRO, youtube gives the uploader full choice to put ads or not. I put the ads there. Stop being such a ultimatum giver, instead of bursting out, why not comment and give me feedback? Just say you dont like it there and that it bothers you. I will make the appropriate changes. The reason you're not instead complaining that the sound is out of sync or other issues, is because viewers like urself saw those problems and gave me feedback. I've made hundreds of changes to make it more enjoyable to the viewers during these past 3 months and thats why this channel has grown. I'll take ur "feedback" into consideration, leave if u choose, out of my control.
@garrettf6851
@garrettf6851 7 жыл бұрын
Well, fuck me silly. I'm sorry I was rude. I honestly didn't think my comment would be seen. But, yeah, I hate that KZfaq is letting ads interrupt a video right in the middle of the content. I don't mind ads overall, but that is ridiculously intrusive. A pre-roll beforehand is fine, but anything else is bad. Maybe an ad every twenty minutes in your longer videos or something would be acceptable, as long as it happens between interviews instead of during. Like I said, I like your collections. In the past, I've had to personally hunt down each interview, and only discovered after watching your videos that I missed some. But ads coming out of nowhere? And ads too often? No good. The last time an ad interrupted a video was during an incredibly emotional speech that nearly had me crying. I almost threw my tablet across the room and screamed at KZfaq. That kind of ad placement is fucked up. So be careful. It's not going to bother just me.
@TheJayLenoFly
@TheJayLenoFly 7 жыл бұрын
Apology accepted. I got carried away in my answer too a little bit. Here is the thing, I feel guilty too having too many ads, I made a questionaire few weeks ago whether this channel had too many ads or not and 70% thought it was fine, 30% thought it was too many and I should have fewer. So, I understand there is an issue of preference here. It's hard to tackle such an issue and at the same time remaining practical. The fact is, the ads are the fuel for this channel, I'm the driver, I choose where to go, but If I don't have fuel, the car goes nowhere. That being said, I totally understand your take on ads on youtube, I've been on youtube for years and have experienced it too, but it's a question of priority, there would be no videos on youtube if there were no ads and you understand that because u complain not about ads, but their placement and number. And I will do my best to decrease the number and change the position. That I will do. Thank you for being a good civilian about this and choosing to have a conversation. I won't be changing the videos that are already up, not all of them, because I just don't have such time. but for the future, I will do those things. Have a good day bro!

I dont know why I didn't mention that in almost alll my videos since day one, I have made it a habit to have my adds only on the transitioning bits, it's an important detail I left out. But recently I changed that up a little bit, and now I know to not stop that early habit thanks to you.

Why did she have a British accent? According to Wikipedia she was American, raised in America and always lived in America. I'm confused.

This is a weird interview and she seems to have a strange accent. Anyone else notice this?

Yep, interesting, wasn’t her natural accent. She sounded much like her character in Love and Other Disasters, 2006.

To everyone commenting on her accent, she was married to a British man so she probably picked it up from him.

That isn't how it works when you are in your 30s and have been in America most of your life. You don't just pickup an accent over night.

ermmmmm that's exactly how it can work, i've known people who copy accents almost immediately without any practice. She's an actress so it was perfectly logical that she would pick it up. Also what does age have to do with shit, now your sounding ageist.

It is odd to me that two people, living in the same house, die mysteriously the same way, and it was dismissed.....................
