He's genuinely like that too. When I met him in Honolulu, he just wanted to talk about me. Before going backstage, I had _explicitly_ told my GF not to point out my Incubus tattoos to Brandon - because she kept saying "Are you gonna show him your Incubus ink??". Lol I explained that a TON of Incubus fans have Incubus tattoos, so Brandon is definitely not going to care about seeing mine. He's seen thousands of them. So.. as soon as we walk up to Brandon, my chick grabs my arm and says "Brandon, look at his tattoo!". Brandon does _exactly_ what I knew he would - he glanced at it and said "Oh, cool man..". He was totally polite, but _clearly_ did not give a single shit. I was mortified. I looked over at my girl like "I FUGGIN' TOLD U SOOOOO!!!" Lmfao Just then, he did a double take and grabbed my wrist as he put his pointer finger on my tattoo. He said "Oh shit!! That's rad! I haven't seen that design since I was 18! How did you find that??" (It's a really old and obscure one of Brandon's drawings from a random sketchbook of his.) Our whole conversation was just him asking questions about Hawaii, tattoos, and my band. He was obsessed with this funny cat t-shirt I was wearing and he and my GF talked about how much they love Sphynx cats. Every single one of those guys were so nice and down to earth. Incubus is pretty much my favorite band and Mike was a HUGE inspiration for my own guitar playing. ..but they were such genuinely nice guys that it just felt like hanging out with old high school friends. I wasn't the least bit nervous or starstruck. I was even (jokingly) talking mad shit to Ben about his KZfaq videos and he thought it was hilarious. He and Jose were laughing their asses off. Love those guys so much!! They're the exact opposite of the saying "Don't meet your heroes because they'll disappoint you."
