....hi....imagine this,....year 2000...had this on my headphones...on my month long journey into the Himalayas....driving through pine forests ....going along glacier waters....complete Milky Way at night ...way way high up there....trekking through the forests alone....listening to this.

Excellent piece very beautiful. Indians musicians are in the background, do they play with the orchestra in another video? Are there more BBC videos playing Shankar and Glass? Thanks for sharing this video.

No video but this is from the album Passages. Passages contains music from Philip Glass played by the Ravi Shankar orchestra and music from Shankar played by the Philip Glass orchestra. It is a great album.
