This song reminds me of being the rebellious 15 year old girl that I was, who would sit in my room listening to Metallica & writing poetry. It's weird how certain songs & the memories you made while listening to the music, just stay with you. Certain songs forever reminding you of a chapter of your life. The sound track to your life being created as you go. I love this song!

James, lars, kirk and rob are best example for perfect combination. Best of the best on earth.

First time I saw them live was 1997 when I was a senior in high school. To this day it’s still the best concert I’ve ever been to. So much energy from the band and the fans. Ears rung all night long. Lol I’ll never forget it!

Metallica - that's great!! Many thanks for reacting to this guys, I just love this band and Fade to Black live is phenomenal!! James Hetfield is the singer/guitarist, Kirk Hammett is the lead guitarist with the fantastic solos, Lars Ulrich is the drummer and Robert Trujillo is the bass player. Lars Ulrich started the band with James Hetfield back in (I think) 1981 and he loves Deep Purple and also Motorhead has been a big influence on him. It's interesting that in this performance James Hetfield is not playing the acoustic guitar at the beginning as he normally does! However it's brilliant anyway. I have loads of Metallica tracks downloaded and I would recommend The Day That Never Comes. It's similar in a way to Fade to Black as it starts off with melodic guitar at the beginning and then there are loads of transitions and great guitar solos. I think you would really love it. Other more heavy songs are Harvester of Sorrow, Sad but True, For Whom the Bell Tolls, The Four Horsemen, The Thing That Should Not Be and Dream No More. Also, I know you've reacted to Bob Seager's Turn the Page, but Metallica do a fantastic heavier version of this song and I have that downloaded. Many thanks again for reacting to this fab song, guys, I can see it really blew you both away, and I do hope that you react to many more!!

"Enter Sandman" live in Moscow will literally blow your mind ! Especially the number of people and the quality of the band. It's EPIC, guys, trust me 😉. The concert took place right after the fall of the Soviet communism....the atmosphere is electric !

Matellica in Russia is insane! The energy of the band and group is unsurpassed. My son turned me on to them in late 90's. I'm a old hippie and the music I grew up on got old and I was looking for something new. He got me into Tool, etc. to! Early 2000"s my daughter turned me on to her music. Never too old to learn and rock n roll.

Dude, I was among the crowd in San Diego 92. I was like 16 that time and first time in my live seeing an epic stunt! The stuntman was Lars Ulrich and it happened before my eyes. So, I would like you to react on The Four Horsemen - Live San Diego 1992 and amazed yourself with Lars and his drum.

I grew up with this song. You can watch it any time you want. But back when MTV actually played music videos, the official video was too long to play in regular rotation. We had to wait for the program "Headbanger's Ball" at midnight on Friday and PRAYED that Ricky Rachtman would play this.

You also need to check out the live version of My Generation by The Who from Live at Leeds. It's nothing like the version you already reacted to. It's added a number of melodies from their Tommy album but has turned them all into raw bangers, with some of Pete Townsend's best work. An EPIC performance for sure.

Guys i think it's time you reacted to Megadeth, The singer of Megadeth used to be the guitar player in Metallica but they chucked him out of the band because he had an aggressive drink and drug problem. He went on to form his own band and they have some awesome songs that very much compete with some of Metallica's best. Songs of Megadeth worth checking out are ( Symphony of destruction, live version from Argentina )- Peace Sells but who's buying - "Holy War" which is totally epic - The Conjuring - and last but not least the live version of " A Tout le Mond " again live from Argentina. If you love Metallica then Megadeth will blow your minds.
