Broadway at the Beach is a shopping center and entertainment complex located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Broadway at the Beach is owned and operated by Burroughs & Chapin. The $250 million attraction is set on 350 acres (1.4 km2) in the heart of Myrtle Beach and features three theaters, over 20 restaurants and over 100 specialty shops as well as attractions, Clubs for the night, and hotels, all surrounding the 23-acre (93,000 m2) Lake Broadway. Broadway at the Beach receives upwards of 14 million visitors annually.
The complex is divided into several distinct zones named New England Fishing Village, Caribbean Village, Charleston Boardwalk, Heroes Harbor and Celebrity Square, a warehouse district-themed nightclub district that stays open later than the rest of the districts. The complex is home to many attractions, such as the Ripley's Aquarium, Legends In Concert, WonderWorks, Hollywood Wax Museum and the Pavilion Nostalgia Park, which features rides from the former Myrtle Beach Pavilion. The complex contains three hotels, a Hampton Inn located inside the complex, and a Fairfield Inn and Holiday Inn Express located across 29th Avenue North in a section named Lakeshore at Broadway.
The Heroes Harbor zone includes a replica of the Morris Island Light atop a bar.
Burroughs & Chapin announced the project in 1993. The July 4, 1995 grand opening included Senator Strom Thurmond and Governor David Beasley. The first attractions included Hard Rock Cafe and Palace Theatre (which once hosted Savage Garden and Weird Al Yankovic). A horseshoe shaped area ran from Celebrity Square to the “Generations at Play” fountain. Additional stores came later, along with Grissom Parkway. Nearby U.S. 17 Bypass attracted more development.[citation needed] In November 1996, a Planet Hollywood and All Star Cafe opened in the "Lakeshore at Broadway" district. The high-profile grand opening of the two restaurants in 1997 attracted celebrities such as Bruce Willis, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Will Smith.
On February 3, 2015, changes were announced that included the city's first Dave & Buster's as well as American Tap House and OZ nightclub. A new 15,043-square-foot Hard Rock Cafe opened in 2016. The landmark Hard Rock pyramid was demolished in fall 2016 to make way for the new Dave & Buster's. Additionally, a Wahlburgers location opened in fall 2016, replacing the former Club Rodeo. The former Carlos'n Charlie's restaurant is home to a two-story restaurant called Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen. Malibu’s Surf Bar, Crocodile Rocks, Original Shucker’s Raw Bar and the Carolina Comedy Club would stay where they were.

I visit this place last year august of 2023 and it has been a healing experience for me i had a sprain knee since june that year never went to knee doctor have surgery i had so much faith that i wanted most high to heal my knee i came with a knee brace stand on bridge and let sun and i walk on a sprain knee afterwards when i got back home charlotte i realize i didnt neede the brace anymore so i will never forget broadway at beach ⛱️ im now walking straight and no longer in pain so i will be back to this wonderful healing place.

My son and I drove there last year after a concert the next day. We were about 3 hours away and it was a Saturday. We parked in a parking garage to go see the beach since it had been awhile. Ate some ice cream and walked on the boardwalk. Then we drove to the Broadway at the beach. We walked around and shopped for us a t-shirt. We did eat at Wahlburgers. We did enjoy the food here. I always like to try a new restaurant. Thanks for sharing your video.

I just watched a video by Carmen and Brian. It was all the new stuff in 2024 at Broadway at the Beach. The new Putt Putt is called Popstroke (?) and they are building it up right now. It looks like it may be ready for the Memorial Day season. Hope this helps. Check it out when you can.

I love visiting Broadway At The Beach! So many shops and restaurants, along with other activities. The Escape Game is now open! The foam that gets shot out over by the The Hangout is pretty cool for the kids. I also like going there before all the stores and restaurants open in the morning, just for a quiet walk with beautiful views of the lake and surrounding area without the crowds. Though visiting at night and seeing the rides all lit up, is also a nice time. Great video!

I enjoyed Wonderworks so much. We did the full package. I did my very first zip-line there, loved the rope course but I had so much fun inside Wonderworks. I loved the jumbo bubble wands and the life size pin screen. I did the inside rope course and played just about all of the video games and trivia games. There’s 4 floors of fun and I took advantage of every bit. The one thing I wouldn’t try was the bicycle that did a 360° flip . Nope! It was well worth the price for the package deal. Also I love the Ripley’s Aquarium. The shark tunnel is outstanding. I haven’t been inside for at least 5 years so I know it’s changed. I understand they have penguins and sloths. We go to Myrtle Beach just about every year just before Memorial Day, before the major crowds. This year we’re going again but in August with family that’s never been, so this will be a perfect time to go to the Aquarium. I might see the latest additions. Each time we visit MB, we go to Broadway at the Beach at least twice. You just have to.

I love your tours and I love that you know so much. I also know that you do individual reviews of certain places. But when you're doing a fool tour like this of a huge area, if you could slow down, just a little, that would be great. I wouldn't mind a longer video just so I can take in everything you say. It goes so fast I can only tell you a third of what you actually saw. I use videos like this to help me plan vacations. So my only recommendation is just slow down a little on these things
