Eli Salazar I don’t really know if that would work. I see why you would want that but I can’t see it working as a movie. Since it’s on broadway now (we’ll next year) we might eventually get a pref recording of it Joe Iconis actually said he would love to do that to sell the show to people who can’t see it live. So that would be awesome,but I don’t think it would work very well as a movie

Eli Salazar me too. If it’s done well it could be amazing. It would just be a matter of cast effects and how many changes are made. Like RENT. It had a MOSTLY good cast (I don’t like Rosario Dawson as Mimi at all) but all the changes they made didn’t work as well. But if they do it very well like the Hairspray and Jersey Boys movies are then it would be a dream

I love that when he did this with MJ Rodriguez, they changed the key, because George has said this song in it’s original key sits low in his voice, and when they raised the key, it made both of their voices shine even more.

I had the pleasure of seeing George play Seymour professionally at the Pasadena Playhouse last night. It makes me so happy that he got to fulfill this dream of his! He was so amazing!
