They are all dancing AND singing! It's one think to expect a dancer to do this normally just in an ordinary routine (and they are all amazing here) but to have to sing as well, and not drop a note... I don't think everyone realises just how fit they would really have to be. They are amazing! And would have to be ridiculously fit!

Hi I know this comment is 6 years old (wow) but I doubt they sang it live. The bit at the start (up until the "Strike" part) is definitely sung live but after that it seems to be playback. The quality of the audio completely changes at some point

It's really odd because never has a dance number been able to get a tear out of me, but at 2:30 I lost it. Great job, something about the harmonies along with the a la seconde turns that just gave me chills and all I can say is wow.

If i had to name other musicals i have seen with standout dancing, it would include Hairspray, Legally Blonde, Hamilton, In the Heights, An American in Paris, Aladdin, Hello Dolly, Holiday Inn, The King & I, Dreamgirls, A Chorus Line, Memphis, On Your Feet, Kinky Boots, Jersey Boys, 42nd Street, Bandstand and Oklahoma.

I saw Newsies on Broadway over the summer and that number is much better in the context of the play. When they perform one number like that on a show it just doesn't feel the same as watching the whole play and experiencing everything with them.

I know this super old but I just have to saw. I love how you can tell they are actually singing love. Most of the time for these things the performers are lip syncing but not the Newsies!

I just saw Newsies at the Nederland Theater in NYC this past Saturday and LOVED it! The music was great, the dancing-phenomenol, and these actors/actresses really put their heart into it. I never really paid any attention to this musical prior-not even realizing that they were on DWTS! After seeing the production, I find myself "you tubing" songs at work so I can re-live the show.....but I only like the performances with Corey Cott because he was the lead at the time I saw it-a real cutie!
