I don’t think anyone’s ever been like “oh I already saw the bootleg, I don’t need to watch the show”. It’s just for when you live in another state or country, or you can’t afford it! Also Taylor is the cutest human on earth

Okay but vast majority of people who watch bootlegs are those who can't afford to go to New York because they live all over the world. And most people in New York do both, watch bootlegs AND see the show live.

nope. I have about $20 to my name and live over 3000 miles away. I am a student in University so any money I earn has to go towards my education. I love the show and believe me if I had the money I would go and see it in a heartbeat. Flights and hotels are just too damn expensive

i have to disagree just because watching a bootleg when you don't have the means to see the show live does not take money out of their bank account and it doesn't harm them in any way. Any broadway fan who's seen the bootleg isn't going to turn down seeing the show live just because they've watched a low quality taping on youtube. Broadway fans would jump at the opportunity to see the shows they love live, but it's just so far out of the realms of possibility for so many people, because broadway just isn't so accessible for fans all around the world.

I think a really good way to resolve this would be if Broadway started recording their shows and either sold them as DVD’s or “rented” the show online so this way people can see it without people permanently having a copy

Taylor is so awesome she plays Regina on Mean Girls Broadway she played Wendy in Peter Pan Live along side with Christopher Walken and Allison Williams. Taylor is just so amazing I would love to meet her in real life ❤️

see the only reason why i watch bootlegs is because theatre and broadway is my life and I'm not supported by my family with me wanting to pursue musical theatre as a job and they don't want to encourage it by brining me to broadway and i can't afford a show on Broadway so bootlegs save my life. i would much rather see the show but I think a lot of people don't understand how limited seeing a broadway show is. and i live in new England so I'm close anyway :(

I got a 25 dollar Schmackary gift card and it certainly does not live up to it's reputation. They were good but it was just like a regular cookie shop. Nothing special.
