Imagine driving and randomly thinking of a masterpiece. So freaking talented.

it is surreal how this show mixes my two favorite things about this earth: new orleans jazz and greek mythology

I found out about this musical five days ago and I already know most of the words to several of the songs! This just comes to show how incredible this musical is!

"Yeah "Wait for me" it is the first song that most people fall in love with!" I think she was right, the first time I listened to the soundtrack most of the songs were hard to swallow for me but Wait for me was the exception!! Now I obviously love all of them, but I think Wait for me is easier to listen

I think I had the opposite reaction. Maybe because of my New Orleans roots, the first songs I connected with me with the brassy classic NOLA vibes in Road to Hell and Way Down Hadestown. Wait for Me is such a powerful song, but it’s also one of the more classic Broadway ballads in the show. It wasn’t until I saw the performance at the Tony’s with the swinging lights that I really “felt it” and fell in love with the way it moves. Edit: corrected some sloppy spelling..

So much thought goes into this not only playing with the music and the actors but also the themes and you can really FEEL and SEE that in the show, it’s just so amazing!

Can we just take a moment to acknowledge how beautiful Anais’ voice is

I love the story of how they put this together! On a more shallow note, Anaïs Mitchell's necklace is so pretty. I can't stop looking at it....
