i remember watching your guys’ vlogs when i was so young like 6 or 7 and always skipping over the “boring” cliche bits but now as i’m getting older they honestly bring me so much comfort. going back and rewatching older videos just to listen to you guys sorta gives me some guidance in life i’m not able to get elsewhere and i’m glad to have grown up on your videos :) happy birthday brock!!!! you guys seriously brought him up so well, wishing him the best as he keeps growing he’s already got such a bright future! My favorite moment from Brock's birth video was when you arrived at the hospital at night, the entrance doors were locked so you had to use the outdoor intercom to be let in. Shay went up to the intercom and just said "hi we want to come in and have a baby" 🤣

Gavin! What a blessed young man, growing up to be a strong solid human being. You can feel his energy shining through the screen and you know he is just where he is supposed to be. His gaining that force to his voice, unstoppable! This family has showed us so much, both the ups and the downs and it's just inspireing. I didn't have kids when I found this channel , I am now a 35 year old woman with plenty of little ones and I STILL enjoy these vlogs just as much as before . To this day, I still remember when they were little and played with legos, played on their swingsets, and played organized baseball, etc. Time is a thief, and I so cherish those days, and I feel sad sometimes looking back. But I also cherish the fine young men that they have become now. Life is an interesting journey with multiple chapters. Time for a new chapter.

I have been watching since the beginning. I am a mother 45 F, of 2 boys 25 and 17. I stopped watching when the vlog stopped. I came back and started watching at a point when I am feeling the same emotions. My youngest son is graduating next year. It was hard with the first, I was not ready. Then he moved out so fast. But since prom this has been hitting hard. I like seeing you guys go thru the same thing. I am thinking of moving back to Utah from Cali. But it is killing me to leave my oldest boy, who luckily lives 1 1/2 hr away. Thank you for all the family laughs and life coping this has given me. Colette thanks for being an inspiration to us other mothers with all the same problems and stresses.
