Cannot gush over I AM GOD's segment enough, though I love this entire project! The numerous instances of biblical allusion and references are surprisingly fitting with what we can infer from his character portrayed in the mod. His almost blasphemous ego and perverted sense of self paired with the way he menacingly attempts to impose his will on Boyfriend is a genuinely intriguing interpretation and really makes him stand out as a villain. The parallels he makes between himself and God are very satisfying to pick up on when you understand the context And don't even get me started on the compromised fragments of Offiz under his control, seeming to harmonise with itself every now and then later on in his section of the song. Plus, you gave him a very uniquely cool voice. Iconic, and it's only been a day Leaving this timestamp here so I can listen to it on loop for the foreseeable future 🙏 amazing work to you and everyone involved!

If I had to make an interpretation, Boyfriend's lack of lyrics for the majority of the song brings him back to his original self. The version that made beeps and boops to avoid talking to people. And that is why he only speaks when he's by himself, and at the last stretch of the I AM GOD section, when he actually feels the need to talk. To put the finality in his battle with I AM GOD, and when he is by himself after surviving Idi's onslaught on his mind.

my favorite part of this is the breakdown part with boyfriend only. it's like he's finally got what's coming to him and he's suffering the consequences of his actions, only for him to hit you with the line *"But when has that stopped me before?"*

Now, I admit I was a BIT on the fence with this one at first. But as it kept playing I got slowly more and more into it. I thought that the breakdown and skull BF parts were steller. You know what I realized? BF doesn't use his actual voice other then the times he's (presumably) alone, then IAMGOD appears, and he has a whole speil about how the world has lost its way. But much more interestingly, in the second half, IAMGOD encourages BF to "use his voice" and the "gifts given" and most importantly, almost the very end, "now ROAR!" and suddenly BF starts using his real voice while saying "why should I ignore this wisdom?" It all stacks together very nicely as showing bf coming out of his shell to use his real voice per IAMGOD's wisodm.

This was an amazing song. Your lyrics add another layer of depth. They are cleverly placed and rhyme with each other incredibly.

Dude, I cannot get enough of the vocal delivery for the amelodic segment where BF is hijacked by the "virus." I already really appreciate how every section has its own vocal tone where the first sounds proud and confident, and the IAMGOD segment adapts a more commanding and urgent tone. The amelodic segment, though... I just cannot stop listening to it, I adore how utterly fucking manic and insane the delivery of the lyrics is. It matches the hectic visuals of the scene so perfectly. I mean, come on, 2:58 should speak for itself. This entire thing is just wonderful, phenomenally done!

This is absolutely legendary which is so befitting such a legendary song, it’s a commentary on so many levels. YOU ARE AN IDIOT feels like he’s lying and gaslighting BF, he’s a part of the beats itself of the internet, sucking BF in with the internet. While GOD is far more straight forward and direct, he insists BF take use of the Internet that he initially seems angry about and use it for good and casting out the sin. Both request you worship them, but neither are necessarily clear about their intentions, considering what both the “YOU ARE AN IDIOT” virus and the original “I AM GOD” ARG actually are. Plus they both refer to the gifts that they’ve given us I.E our lives and the Internet presumably. Also also God telling BF not to run alluding to what he told the OP’s friend in the ARG. GOD insists you carry on and make your voice heard either way with this tech that connects us from all over the world, to take it over and not let technology take hold of us. Maybe to an extent he is also addressing BF as well as us, that Fnf is popular and can make so much good change in the world since people listen to it despite it starting off as a silly Newgrounds game. It’s made and brought a lot of good as well as bad, and after all it’s loved for this long right? Regardless, in the end it’s embracing the new and old, taking the “beast” and finding a balance to live in harmony.
