We went to visit our daughter and son and my daughter's little boy. They all live about 2 1/2 hrs. from us in the NC mts. for Thanksgiving. We prepared somethings the night before and the rest the next day. I made the dressing /stuffing the night before and it must have been pretty good it was just a little bit left. : - ) It was not soggie at all . My Mom told me she had never cooked a turkey before and I was shocked!!!

OMGosh, I was dying over all the chaos with the kids!! They are so silly and hilarious!! They are super sweet and well behaved as well. Penny's zoomies are just too CUTE!! She's such a good puppy!! 😊😊 I can't wait for tomorrow's vlog!! I love Thanksgiving!! Food wise it's my favorite holiday. I love stuffing only I guess they call it dressing bc we don't stuff our bird with it. Also, we mostly use Stovetop, haha!! It's the best stuffing ever and it's not wet and mushy like traditional stuffing. It's drier....you might like it, Jared.

Penny reminds me so much of my Buddy when I had him. He was just full of energy! He didn't behave nearly as well, though, which is why I ended up rehoming him...I miss that critter... :'(

You should do potatoes with onion and herbs cooked of course all mixed and mashed and small amount of butter then backed in the oven for half an hour..

Oh my heck, my tears just flowed on this video. It took me back to when my kids were wee ones, & my parents were still with us. Those were the best days of my life & I don’t think I even realized it. These times together are SO very precious. It makes me so happy to see you all enjoying one another’s company. The kids eating their Cheerios made me laugh. I just love your family & pray that so many blessings are bestowed upon you all!!

Penny was so funny at the end. You two are the sweetest. It is so obvious that you are very much in love with each other. Ellie, I love that you are not so fussy about yourself and are being "you" with your little head thingy. Jared, you were so sweet to her and making such cute comments about her. I love that you are down to earth and seem so happy. I know it is not always that way, but you are not afraid to show your love on camera and that is amazing to me.

I straight away ordered the dress ! The second i saw Ellie in that dress a little while back i was like WOW so pretty, when i heard it was a new Bollie dress i got super excited. Can't wait for it to arrive !!!

Thumbsucking was cute for our oldest daughter...until she was still doing it at 4 years old! Haha that was the hardest habit to break (and her pulling her eye lashes out!) and dentist said it would affect her teeth. Tape the thumb! Haha

I love smoked turkey so much better than oven baked! I think it adds so much more moisture to it! & my son does exactly what your sister Jennifer used to do lol the two fingers😍

My nephew sucked his thumb allllllllll the time and ended up needing 5+ warts removed over time because he wouldn't stop sucking his thumb. I think it's cute but don't let it go too long! I know you know that but it's been so sad to see my nephew have to get warts removed.
