I have, like, a ~CAD$50 or so headset, and it's pretty damn decent, minus the fact that it just *doesn't have base.* Yeah, USD$132 headset is definitelt *not* broke. Channels like Austin Evans and Linus Tech Tips just have *much* higher standards than a normal gamer.

I have that Rii keyboard lying around because it was the only one in my desired key layout I could get shipped. tbh, the keys worked, but not very well, it's pretty crap lol The cheapo mouse though? I had a different redragon at work for a while and I really liked it. my fav mouse layout is the one on those world of warcraft mice you can't buy anymore and that thing came really close. it only lasted a couple of months and has not been available since lol

good point. and if they want to only test peripherals, than both PCs should be exactly the same, and if testing a full package then it should include cheap computer vs pro: gauranteed a mediocre player on a high-end rig can beat a pro player on a crap rig... because they see everything and they see it first, whereas a cheap rig will drop frames and lag

oh my god my first pc a few years ago was a intel pentium with windows 7 on it and like 2 gb of ram, upgraded that as soon as i could to the core 2 duo 🤣 and even got a kit of 6gb ram so i had like 8gb and it definetly made it faster, not much faster mind you but those upgrades did help 😂 now ive got a 2400g with a rx 580 8gb armor and am gonna upgrade my cpu to the 3400g here soon. and even a m.2 and sata ssds. cant wait for that speed lol

Gaming is not about competing. I play single player games only. Or Co-Op games with friends because I like being social. I have a 3K gaming rig and its about comfort, pleasure, smoothness reducing eye strain etc... A chevy Aveo can get you to the same place a Cadillac can. But when you get out of the car. One will leave you feeling drained while the other will leave you feeling recharged.
