Such a sad, poignant movie. I remember watching it and silent tears running down my face. I was heartbroken for them. The one kiss scene is considered to be one of Hollywoods best. Ledger was such a tremendous actor. If he had lived he would have become another Hollywood legend.

I watched this back in 2005, when it was in theaters. I was 20 then. Didn’t know what it was about. Thought it was a beautiful love story about two cowboys in the mountain. It crushed my soul and shattered my heart. It changed me forever. I haven’t been able to rewatch this movie ever again. It’s too much for me. The feelings are too heavy and suffocating. Even watching this beautiful edit I have tears in my eyes and feel lost. Why can’t those two beautiful souls simply be in love with each other without anyone judging them? We all have only this one life. Why does it have to be miserable just because you don’t fit what the majority deems “normal”. Argh I’m sad now. Thank you for this wonderful edit!

I still remember when I took the train abroad in 2005 so that I could see BBM in cinema earlier than in my country. One of the best movies of all time. For me Heath was one of the best actors in the world. I still miss him so much.
