Might be me, but i feel like after the "balance" patch every. single. damn. build is heavily contested. You can't even switch in time anymore because those units are contested already as well. Its also so heavily late game focussed now that you cant really pick something other then a S tier or Meta build otherwise you're just not making it to p4.
