Our 11 year old son got his cast today for his broken arm! The outcome was way better than we could have ever expected! With have active he is we were worried we would not be able to too much this Christmas season. With it being his first broken arm we wanted to make sure we got him the best care and listen to the doctors suggestions. Having a broken arm is no fun; having the outcome like this was unexpected for sure!

I had a buckle fracture a few years ago and I was out 6-8 weeks. Glad he’s getting better! Speedy recovery and best wishes bud!🙏🏼

I feel so sorry for the poor kids always one of them break some bone or in the ER sad😢 but they are so positive, very active and healthy that’s what counts the biggest reason for their positivity is from their parents 😁 for teaching them to be tough cookies

knowledge today is so better simple. back when I was a kid definitely would have been put in a cast. turin got lucky hope healing goes quickly. Lindsay great job on the wreath..

I thought I saw a Christmas tree behind Justin when they were interviewing Landon? Anyway, I'm sure it will be beautiful. So nice Turin doesn't have to wear a heavy cast. I guess it depends on the kind of break in the arm. Love Justin teaching Ashton how to do 'manly things' like putting up the wreaths and outdoor work. It makes them feel like adults, I could see his happiness with being trusted to do it on his sweet face. You two are the best parents ever! I just love your vlogs.

I broke my wrist last winter too-about a month after this video. I had a full fracture all the way through the bone so it was a little more complex but they told me similar things. My doctor said they try and avoid casts for extended times as much as possible because they do more damage to the muscles via degeneration than good if its a simple break and braces work just as well. I had a soft cast like he has for a week to allow for swelling and then a cast for 2 weeks followed by a brace for 4. the brace allowed me to gain strength slowly as well so I wasn't as sore after I was out of the brace.

Hey Turin, my granddaughter got a buckle fracture of her femur when she was 10 months old. Daddy was carrying her downstairs and slipped on the carpet and fell. She only had a brace with Ace wraps and healed very quickly, in just a few weeks.

Easy not to much of a break! Lucky! My son fell down 3 steps and broke both bones in his left arm! He now has a plate and screws in his arm! But after 6 weeks his arm healed great! A bit weak now but he will be doing some work at school to get some strength back. It is easier than therapy

Feel better Turin I broke my 5th metatarsal bone in my right foot so yeah I'm like you but I have to go to go tomorrow morning to orthopedic doctor to see my story for mine. Feel better soon..

So great that Turin had the option to wear the brace. It will be the most comfortable for him in the long run. Ava is so cute and funny. My son had a broken arm, and while in the cast, he broke his ankle as well. Had to be pushed everywhere in a wheelchair coz he couldn’t use crutches lol, and he didn’t do any sports. Glad Turin has a comfortable ‘cast’. The wreaths look fantastic!

I have a cast right now and it’s kind of weird because they didn’t give me the option to have a brace or not but my cast is not waterproof so I can’t get it wet at all so it’s kind of weird but he’s lucky he’s a lucky kid

I broke my big bone and I had mine on for 2 months and I got one of those little things cuz I had one big giant castle in one past my elbow and one that was shorter than that and then I got the splint and then I was good and took two months to heal and I broke it off of bike I just fell and broke and it's the one that goes through I found my broke that one and I hope his arm feels better

Everyone...I've seen so many comments about this and so you understand Turin has a nervous tick...very normal when your nervous about a situation...HE WILL outgrow this condition.....I did and I am 59 years old....I hope this answers everyones questions and ask everyone stop with the comments......it is a nervous tick....period.

If he starts to sweat in and it feels yucky or itchy you can take a sock and cut the toes off and make a slit for his thumb and wear it under the brace like gloves it will soak the sweat instead of his brace and will help make the brace less stinky or yucky feeling.

I broke my arm too and I am 10 years old. Yesterday I have my cast off .It hurts sometimes .I must be careful because in other ways I will brake my arm again and I dont want!

I love the way they decorate the house for Christmas, & one of the twins is helping put the decorations on, I feel sorry that Turin had to use like some type of cast & sling for his arm to keep in place especially for the holidays, what a drag, knowing how competitive he is.
