BBTS were going to go on an America tour this year but it ended up being postponed. They have had some roster changes in the last year but they are still very active. I think because they bring in different artists to play the instruments is why they are wearing masks, the primary focus of Idol groups are supposed to be on the Idol's just like BABYMETAL. One really unique thing about BBTS besides Lo's deep growl is that they also sneak jazz in there songs from time to time, and if you continue to check them out you will also notice it. They are one of the more extreme Idol groups out their and they do not use any vocal effects. Band is guys. Singers are women. It's basically a metalcore / idol group. Sometimes the singers perform with the band, sometimes alone with a backing track. This is one of the most fun bands I have ever found. I love the combination they have of brutal vocals, kawaii vocals, metalcore, and yet a load of kind of fun funky riffs, and some jazzy ones as well. The lead guitarist also writes the music. I would not say this is THE song, but I would put it alongside about 14 or so other songs in the tier 1 group for me personally. It's a really hard band to be able recommend on as, well, they are quite odd. One of the things I love about them is they are having a lot of fun, especially io, the singer who does the gutterals. Other songs with MVs that are great are - Rising sun MV (they have a guest vocalist who is a comedian in Japan who just pops up) - Koi ha otome no nakidokoro MV (this one they go really hard) - アイハキミノモノMV (personally just find this one the most fun) - 感情クロスカウンター - (the most common first reaction song, pretty jazzy) A great live is - 陽炎 feat. Isam (from MAKE MY DAY)＆アイガーゴイル (from アイリフドーパ) As the other commenter suggested, Message is good as well. Certainly worth a few more listens, but as to whether they would end up being your thing, really hard to tell :)

So a few infos about BBTS: The band consists of 3 male musicians (guitar, bass, drums) who are playing metalcore/deathcore music. Sometimes they add a session musician for the keyboards. They decided that they wanted to add some idol singers to front their band, so they held auditions and hired the 4 idol singers you see in this video. They want the fans to focus on the idols, that is why all musicians wear zombie masks. As with babymetal where the band is called 'kami band' (Band of Gods), they call themselves 'zombie band'. The musicians don't change as it is with Babymetal, because they are also the producers. When BBTS goes on tour, it is often only the girls who sing over a music soundtrack. Usually in Japan, a company puts together musicians and singers and create a band like that. In this case, the band is also the producer of BBTS. IMO they really hit the jackpot with Io (io, not Lo), the deep growler. I have never heard a female getting this low with her growling voice. She can also do high pitch screams and even pig squeals. Kagura, the high pitch screamer, makes a good harmony together with Io in screaming vocals. Ayame and Yae, the clean vocalists, give the final touch to the vocal performance of this band. Over the years, 3 members left and 3 new members where hired. Kaguras high screams are now done by Yayoi, the clean voices of Ayame and Yae are now done by Tsubaki and Shizuku. I've watched quite a few bands/videos like this the last week or two (they've popped up i my YT feed), and to to honest, I always tend to wonder if they're "real" bands, or just something put together to become the next Babymetal. OK, this one also has growling. There was one band -- I can't recall its name -- I watched that was downright terrible, the girls couldn't dance and the singing was sub-par. On the other hand: I actually watched Band-Maid's very first video, "Thrill", when it was released, and I believed it was five cute models doing a Milli Vanilli! I was wrong -- boy, was I wrong! Babymetal has gone from being a fun and gimmicky band to become an artistically outstanding band. I'm not sure what I think about BBTS. I have to check out a few more songs. I usually don't like growling, I find it silly (but Yukina gets away with it).
