Watch me paint a second day of Alla Prima landscape in oils; relax, and enjoy and perhaps paint with me this image inspired by a view of a canal in the Spring. You will see real time paint mixing and brushstrokes so you can make your own painting along with me, or after you watched the video the first time. Pause as needed and enjoy!
For this painting I used:
ARTISAN Winsor & Newton Water Mixable Oils:
Yellow Ochre, Permanent Alizarin Crimson, Phthalocyanine Green, French Ultramarine, and Titanium White
CENTURION LX Universal Primed Linen Painting Panel 9 in x 12 in
Soho Disposable Grey Toned paper palette 9 in x 12 in
Simply Simmons Long Handle brushes Flat #8 and Bright #12; and a 2 in (5.08 cm) angle brush
You will also need:
Old towel, newspapers, or table cloth to protect your painting table.
Paper towels or old rags for cleaning the brushes, water in 2 or 3 separate containers for cleaning the brushes.
Wear clothes that you would not mind if paint gets to them.
